Provisioning Recipes - Recipe Improvement 1 or 6 only.......

While I am certainly finding a lot of recipes, they are all Recipe Improvement 1 or 6. With my provisioning now at 27, it takes a LOT of lvl 1 or 5 recipes to increase provisioning any further.
Has anyone had any luck finding recipes with Recipe Improvement 2 or 3 anywhere?
I even went as far as doing a long run to Stormhaven and Bangkorai and looting everything not nailed down there in the hopes of finding them in a higher level town, but still just RI 1 & 6.
Thinking about it offline while the servers are down, are drops tied to your current skill purchases in the Recipe Improvement skill? I have yet to spend a skill point in upgrading Recipe Improvement to 2, choosing to wait until I have a recipe in my possession that needs it.

its the same for me
i havent been able to find a level 10 recipe yet
i find level 1's and 5's and veteran rank 5's
im thinking maybe were getting the veteran rank 5's instead of the level 10 ones because of a bug
in beta with the same level of provisioning and the same character level i was getting plenty of level 10 recipe's0 -
im doing fine, level 15 and 20 recipes and some veteran recipes also... u shure u searched in the right places??? u must seek for them on your levels places0

shirt10✭✭Yeah, I have found blue recipes too which are Recipe Improvement 1 level.
The issue is finding recipes with Recipe Improvement 2 or 3.
And yes, I have been looking in all the right places, including zones of the appropriate level for which recipes of that level would be making food for its adventurers (Stormhaven and Bangkorai).
Charlesbr, where did you find your lvl 15 & 20 recipes?

Vigmundr✭I guess I have been having zero problem with this. I have my Provisioning at lvl 50 and have over 75 recipies. Once you put points into Recipe improvement and remember Recipe Quality**Edited by Vigmundr on April 2, 2014 1:30PM0

180darts✭I found mostly lvl1 or lvl6 only. While it takes forever to use level ones to level my skill up, finding ingredients isn't hard, just takes forever to craft it all.0 -
