Pretty unsure if pirates and mad tinkerer benefit you much according to the playstyle shown in the video. Mad tinkerer never hits from the tower and i havent seen you change into the pirate skeleton when i started to look out for it.

That totally depends on the build. But in your setup it doesnt make sense to play the other way round, since you are too squishy to get focussed by several enemies (you know what i mean with „focussed“, light attacking or occasional skills dont count). The bad thing about mad tinkerer is, that half of the time it doesnt work (like in the tower) and the other time, the proc is mostly uncontrolled. So you cant stun somebody as wished by using that set.
I still would recommend going for a dawnbreaker at least in groupplay. It was pretty clear, that you guys will die in tower. In such a small scale group timed burst is key for succes, especially in that kind of tower fight a combined ultimate combo would have killed half of the enemies. Bat swarm is good for survival, but definitely unsuited like saul assault in such a situation.
I saw how mad tinkerer stunned them all, alright. But there was pretty much zero advantage by that proc.

Mad tinkerer doesn't look terrible. It's just not for the moble Templar. And it's tough to manage where you are having for jabs and then for another proc. If magplar didn't need pirate Skeleton, you could roll a set that stuns better than mad thinkerer.Jimmy_The_Fixer wrote: »Innate axiom, pirate skeleton and war maiden are all pretty meta for magplar. Awesome vid @Akinos
I just recently dropped my old build I've been running for like 7 months.
2 torugs
5 riposte
5 desert rose
2 skoria
5 light
Its a very fun build but I'm getting the itch to try out resto backbar again.
I've put together
5 soulshine
5 warmaiden
2 skoria
5 heavy. My damage is so much higher but learning to defend is hardcore XD lol.
I guess after finally getting my first general rank it's time to put the big boy panties on learn to play more aggressive and learn to defend without a defense set!
Miss the 5k spell pen though...that hurts
I can't bring myself to use pirate skellie though. It just feels redundant equipping all those damage sets just to take away the awesome burst of skoria.
Can't wait till next patch with jewel crafting and two set bonus resto staves!
Awesome vid again, see you out there bro

What other magicka set has a aoe cc proc? Just curious, because I don't know atm.

Also spicy vid, Akinos!

I hate it when you post something, and instead of simply appreciating your build and what it can do, people immediately start trying to tell you how to improve the build and what you could do better...
You build your character to play a certain way and when you do that, you don't give a *** about the meta and what someone else feels is more optimal...
Your build works and works well; that's the bottomline...
Again, good job OP...
