Are Breeches Necessary After Crafting a Robe?

I play an Argonian Sorcerer, I am still low level (17) so of course my armor rate is pretty limited. I was just wondering if I need to craft Breeches (a skirt) if I already crafted a Robe. I'm inclined to say that since Robes count as Chest armour and Breeches as Leg armour, I need to craft the Breeches but I need confirmation from the Veterans out here. I don't have unlimited resources, so I just want to make sure before I make a stupid decision. Thank you in advance!

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, you need to craft leg pieces in addition to a robe to get 2 pieces of the set bonuses. The robes only count for 1 set piece of armor even though they look like 2.5 -

If you open up your inventory window, you can see the various armor pieces your character wears. You want each spot to be filled.1 -

This, also you're losing out on the armor boost you would get for having something in that slot.#proud2BAStarObsessedLoony

✭✭✭✭✭You generaly want 5 pieces of armor and weapon in a set for the bonus, most lower level characters use one 5 piece armor set, then two armor and weapon of another then 3 random ring you try to have of one set.Grinding just make you go in circles.

✭✭✭✭The difference between Jerkin and Robe is purely cosmetic, and they do take up the same [chest] slot in your character window while breeches take the [legs] one.
