I just now figured out that exists for non mobile version aswell! \o/
Account settings -> Signature settings -> "Hide signatures always"

I keep my signature to one line. May go completely crazy and bump it to two lines some day.

Listing your characters in your signature just lets other people know who you are in game.

I too use mobile, although I did create a signature once upon a time over a year ago. It may sound elitist it's more just to say i know some of the classes well.

I use the kill counter addon in game, which tracks my kill / death ratio with every player I’ve ever fought.

If someone says something particularly stupid on the message boards and they happen to play on PC NA, their signature allows me to look up how many times I’ve killed them and how many times they’ve killed me.

There’s a strong correlation between saying stupid things on the message board (for example, “nightblades are underperforming” or “the other two alliances always team up on mine”) and being given the “on farm” designation by the addon.

I try to appreciate the small things in life when I can.

There are a few where I wonder why people have to list what they do and make it as long as they do.

I have a lot of respect for the people who spoiler tag their character lists though, it is appreciated.

I'm more likely to get triggered when someone quotes an enormous long post in full and adds one line.

Yours is actually pretty long as well - which is the true irony of this thread.

Personally I don't mind long signatures.

I don't think signatures are about proving yourself, but rather asserting who you are in game and what perspective you might or might not have.

the way my tablet and browser handles the page scrolling, i usually have to move the whole page over if i would want to check who wrote a post, and then move it back. for me, it's both better and easier to consider each post on its own merits, and i'm very comfortable with that. but some people sure do have some signatures, and some of them sure do remind me of 1998...

I read what I find interesting. If ppl post their char names and i find what they write legit, I will read their char names as well, so if I see them in game I can tryhard to kill them (jk)
