I'm not liking Craglorn because of how sunny it is and I want to utilize 3/3 Keen Eye. Which zone is usually the darkest?

I already have 50 Enchanting and just want to farm runestones like Makderi/Oru/etc.

The starter islands are good places to farm runestones. Stros M'kai is also sunny, but during nights keen eye works there very well. Before Craglorn i used it as my farming place. It's very small and can be constantly farmed from southern wayshine to northern, then teleport back to south. You will soon figure out a route.

Nodes spawn random runes, so you have to pick all to eventually get those you need.

Craglorn is a great place for runes. The starter islands are also great, and I don't think they, or any other area, offer any advantage as far as being 'darker'. Too bad you play console, since one add-on would help your issue.

All the nodes are permanent, so make a map or memorize their locations in Craglorn, or wherever. Then you can farm regardless of brightness. I know hundreds of rune nodes from constant resource farming.

I like Pothole cavern in Cyrodiil. Its basically my second home. It not only has several rune nodes with quick respawn, but it has also 3 heavy sacks spawn points, and since they improved significantly heavy sack loot, you can find 10 essence runes there sometimes, plus ton of other useful stuff. And of course there are some voidstone nodes there too if you are doing writs. As I say, really good place to visit.

Rivenspire is a darker region, so how sunny it is doesn't really affect the ability to see the runestones

Lmao. PC players have it so “easy”. To be honest I’m kinda glad I don’t play PC. Takes a lot of the challenge, fun, competition, (and seems like skill) away from playing.

Good question about “the darkest” places though.

    Cheers
