What happened to Trinimac's wings??

I was playing around with the outfit station and realised (to my dismay) that Trinimac's shoulders don't have "wings" attached anymore?!!! They looked so cool! Why has that been changed?

They are on the chest piece now. Also, the Ra Gada chest piece comes with "wings" as well.

Are you kidding me? Why??? Who came up with such a "brilliant" idea? Those wings were the only nice thing about that motif. I could cope with shoulders (a much smaller piece) but now I'd have to put on a whole chest piece?

Yes but Ra Gada's wings are not as nice. Do you know who proposed such change and why? I find it absurd that someone at ZOS thought: "There is so much important and urgent stuff to sort out (bugs, glitches, crashes) but I think I'm going to focus on shifting Trinimac's wings to a chest piece..."

They have different teams for different areas of the game. There is an Art Team solely dedicated to things just like this, then there is a combat Team, a server team, a core code team etc....

No idea whhy but they changed it a long time ago. Think they did this almost 2 years ago around DB release or around summer 2016(?).

Still, why would someone want to change such a thing? Maybe to make wings accessible to those who wanted to wear a monster set? That would make sense actually. I might have answered myself!

I don't own that part of the motif, and probably would use it too much if I did, but I would be pissed if I paid gold for those shoulders just for the wings, and they changed it over to the chest. It's as if they don't use their *** brains sometimes. Even if you have the money, it's still a waste.

When I was wearing Trinimac shoulders (before the wings were removed) I was frequently having graphical glitches with the wings when paired with other items (half of color would disappear etc).
I always assumed that the change was made to get rid of these issues. But that is only my guess.

Yes now when you mention it I remember I had some issues with this. Never seen the technical reason why they changed it but this could be the reason.

Didnt they change to chest because there was graphical issues when paired with ra gada chest? 2 sets of wings looked cool but i think it messed with things. Just my guess though since i prefer ra gada chest and dont use trinimac for anything but swords

Well, that would be me. Trinimac shoulders are the only Trinimac piece I ever bought. Mind I am a multi-millionaire so I couldn't care less about the money

but still, now I'll need to buy the chest and see if it will match with the rest of my outfit (although I highly doubt it). Besides I really love my Clockwork jerkin and I'd hate to lose it. But I also love those wings... this is Sophie's choice all over again!

I remember the glitch with the wings, but I'm sure that it could be fixed...............

Yeah it's a shame to. You don't even see anyone wearing those wings anymore since they ruined it.

Now you do! I just bought the chest motif (a hefty 50k!) and integrated it with my costume. It actually looks quite sharp!
