Treasure maps acquired pre summerset

Just a thought I had. If we save our treasure maps and then use them after the Summerset patch will any jewellery be deconstructable?

    Should be. The RNG for the contents happens when you open the chest, not when you acquire the map.

    Probably. It doesn't spawn the contents until you open it so as long as you open it post patch you should be getting new jewelry.

    My treasure map procrastination might be a good thing. Great question. Hopefully, we'll get a definitive answer soon.

    Just tried this with my copied EU character who had some treasure maps on him, and the answer is: yes!

    what about the items from the champion caches from the end of campaigns?

    I've been saving them up for awhile now (I already have tons of the epic pvp jewelry)...

    i'm hoping that if I don't open those caches until summerset those necklaces and rings will be deconstructable...
