Hi everyone! I have stamsorc and stamwarden, both dual wield/2handed and it works great. But now i want to try stam DK dot DW/2H build. Is it worth to try? And what can you recommend to me? (sets, race, etc).

Running a dot build for pvp is more suitable for dueling but it can work for solo/whatever else if you want it to. IMO SnB/2H is better for a DK dot build than DW because you already have 2 class dots without Blood Craze (DW) and would have access to Major Defile which is pretty essential in a dot build. Either way, you're going to want heavy armor and focus on max stats and survivability so you can outlast opponents otherwise your dots won't have enough time to do work. Here's what I would recommend:

    2H/DW

    2pc Bloodspawn or Malubeth
    5pc Seventh Legion or Fury
5pc Poisonous Serpent or Werewolf Hide or 3pc Agility with Master DW or whatever else you fancy (flex)

Tri-stat food with Tower Mundus, focus on applying dots and heavy attacks to keep resources up, once health is 50%ish use Fossilize > Leap/DBoS > Executioner/Steel Tornado

    2H/SnB

    2pc Bloodspawn or Malubeth
    5pc Seventh Legion or Fury
5pc Werewolf Hide (Jewelry/Snb) and VMA 2H Axe or whatever else (flex)

Same as above except use Reverb to stun/debuff and option to use Dizzying Swing to apply extra pressure into Ult

You could also look into Durok's Bane and/or Morag Tong

Best DOT buffer in PVP is Heavy Armor Mechanical Acuity. It's so bursty!

Just focus on putting CP in Thauma, Mighty, Piercing, Precise Strikes, and Shattering Blows.

As good as acuity is as a PVE medium or light armor set, the 5 piece becomes otherworldy with lots of CP in precise strikes or elfborn when using heavy armor in PVP. It can become effectively a 37% buff to damage done that you get every 18 seconds. I'd use prisoner's rags for sustain because it will allow you to spam your wings and earthen heart abilities. The earthen heart skills can convert magicka to stamina when they are cast, and so with prisoner's, you'll also be able to convert stamina into magicka by simply running. Troll King is the best DK monster set, but chudan or earthgore or bloodspawn are also nice options.

troll king is good too but i like bloodspawn better for DK and malubeth is better than troll king if you don't have any racial health recovery passives.

you could go orc, imperial, nord, redguard is probably the best all round. orc or nord if you want to use troll king.

Pretty OP, but you'll have a tough time sustaining. Will want to go serpent, which means poor penetration, so dumping boatloads of cp in piercing will be mandatory. I'd probably only use 2 of those 3 sets together, and pair them with a sustain set, but if you can pull it off, it will definitely be powerful.

Honestly- whatever you do: just use bleeds.

Bleeds get to ignore ALL physical resistances. So, it doesn't matter if a player has 10k or 30k physical resistance. Hell, I'd use a build that gives you access to bleeds and oblivion damage. Perhaps use SnB so that you have easy access to Major Defile from Reverberating Bash.

You could go with Bloodspawn, 7th Legion, and Automaton... or the new Sload set. Automaton will buff the bleed damage that you do since it's physical damage. Just make sure you have Twin Slashes (DW axes) or Carve (2H battleaxe). You can even equip Oblivion Damage enchants for more guaranteed damage.

Stack a ton of damage into Thaumaturge... it'll increase the damage from bleeds, oblivion damage, and your poisons if you use Venomous Claw.

I use fasallas on my sdk dot build. You will need your dots to out damage the opponents heals. quickly stacking major and minor defile is the easiest way to achieve that. Doesn't work to well against templar or sorc and your going to need something to keep nightblades out of stealth if you want to kill them.
