    Having bought up all the crowns in the recent F.U ESO player base crown sale, my own crown sale starts this Friday, with a twenty percent mark up on the original crown price!

    Yeah same, I would still buy at 40%. I remember the 5500 packs going for that much sometimes, so it seems fair.

    I wasn't hurting for crowns this sale, but I know there are costumes coming I would like to buy. So I was considering getting more crowns, but not at a 20% discount.

    If I were low on crowns, 40% might look decent, but not necessarily this time.

    I have a feeling a lot of people still had crowns kicking around too, which might have contributed to low enthusiasm for the sale.

    Probably because they've raised the prices about double. (mounts used to be, at most 1800 crowns and are now 3500, costumes used to be 500 and usually come in at 1000, etc)

    I guess I'm completely insane because I bought 21,000! I'm retired and gaming is my 'thing'. Other than my regular bills, it's just about the only thing I spend money on so, I figure, a 20% sale is better than NO sale.

    Eh, not really. I bought crowns when I first came back to the game without any discount. Don't spend money on many other things aside from e-books and yarn. Lately, though, I've not seen much of interest. A costume here, a pet there, no crates. I've got plenty of gems so no need there either.

    If they had been 50% off I would have. I don't like to buy crowns for less than half off, especially when I have kids birthdays for the next 3 months. Not a lot of wiggle room for mom stuff for a while.

    I didnt but it wasn't really directly because of the sale. I just didn't have anything i wanted to buy.

    I wouldn't buy crowns without a reason unless it was a really big discount.

    I bought 21k because I needed them. If I didn't need them I wouldn't have bought them. 20% was better than 0% off, so that was a plus.

    I am curious as to whether they will be discounted 40-50% in July or August. I figure that will be when they decide that Summerset did not sell as well as Morrowind, and that they need a sale to spur purchase of Vvardenfell and Warden in the Crown Store.

    I did, I would have bought them without the sale so I didn't have a reason not to. I will admit I would likely have bought a few extra to bank if they were on sale but the price was not a roadblock for me.
