✭✭YesWith the 2H counting for 2 set pieces now, that Hundings Nirnhoned Bow is likely already gonna be nipping the heels of Maelstrom Bow. So I dont know how useful a weaker version of it will be.
But, I’d be ok with getting the general population stronger. Or having more options and stuff.0 -

Houshiki✭✭✭✭Honestly, the only maelstrom weapons worth slotting are the bow, and inferno/lightning staves, and even then only on the backbar. These weapons have already been nerfed recently with having the extra spl/wpn dmg removed, while in previous patches the unique effects were nerfed.
The current effects of the 2h, and SnB maelstrom weapons simply aren't worth slotting over a second 5 piece. While the dw maelstrom build is difficult to maintain sustain due to the Morrowind changes. And with the coming to changes in Summerset, there'll be even less incentive to slot these weapons despite there difficulty to obtain.
If anything, nerfing the maelstrom weapons further, then adding an even weaker version to the loot table is a poor design direction to take. Basically, the bow and staves are fine as is, but the rest need to get a look at.
P.S. Yes and No (because I don't like change) ... yeah... not biased at all...5 -

And I honestly would be offended with dsa. Normal dsa is easier then most dungeons. vDSA though is quite the trial.3 -

You seem to be pushing some agenda here, which one could infer is that you are unable to complete the content that awards the weapons. To get a Master or Maelstrom weapon is an achievement; the proof that you can complete somewhat difficult content (for many players) and be justly rewarded for it. The normal versions are by order of magnitude exponentially easier, so to get a “slightly” better version on vet seems like a robbery.
Lastly, yes, it’s a biased poll. I’m actually a little concerned that you don’t see that fact.DO. NOT. WIPE. (in game OR out!)7 -

My Answer: No. These weapons should be there for the player that can clear the Vet content. With the Changes to 2H Weapons giving 2 Set-Boni, its allready a lending hand to those who cant/want to clear vMA or vDSA. Since the loss of the ability altering weapons can be compensated with 5/5/2.3 -

You might want to re-read the thread and see who is doing the insulting... mostly the vocal no's and the ones apparently incapable of discussingvthe subject without adhoms and unevidenced claims.
