Death of templars?

I main a Templar healer. I was shocked to see breath of life getting nerfed by 33%, and also that purifying ritual is also getting a doubled cost! It’s like 7500 magic to cast now, which is a gigantic cost for that skill.

What’s even more surprising to me is no ones mentioned this. I would’ve thought many templars would have been upset by this.

I personally use Bol rarely, but use purifying ritual on every mob. It’s part of every rotation and fight, as it debuffs me like crazy, heals others and also allows them to remove effects as well. I don’t understand the need to double the cost out of nowhere.

Healing ritual gets the cost incease but will be an instant cast now, cleansing ritual will be the same. You're confusing two skills.

The nerf to BoL makes no sense.

I'm fine with the changes.

BoL not hitting everyone didn't need to be that strong of a heal.

Healing Ritual could cost more honestly. My HoTs normally keep people up through most attacks, even if they stand in big red dumb on the ground. Just needed BoL off and on, gladly will take Healing Ritual.

I do wish they would make combat prayer more of an AoE to make it more worth while. With the way people think running around a jumping during combat will help their DPS is makes it hard to hit them with a targetted ground heal, that massively ups their damage...STOP MOVING!

Even something like half the size of healing ritual where I can get in closer then hit people with it. It's such a good heal but hard to use at times.

Please, read the patchnotes carefully before posting complaints.

Breath of Life (Rushed Ceremony morph): Reduced the healing done from this morph’s secondary heal by approximately 33%.

Healing Ritual: This ability and its morphs no longer have a cast time; they are now instant cast abilities that heal for the same amount. Their costs have been increased to 7290 Magicka from 3780 Magicka.

There is nothing in patch notes regarding Purifying Ritual.

i main a templar healer and i see no difference at all but i dont rely on more than just a few of my templars actual skills what you use in raids comes from the resto staff tree not the templar itself.
