Limited abilities for stam users, we want more options for stam builds.

Hello there,

Been playing from a while, triying to make a caracter/playstyle what suits me best but i cant find it, because i find out that if I want to build a melee class I crash into walls every time, because If i make a 2h stam Dk or a 2h stam templar my options for abilities are realy limited, basically I'm using the same spells, with a two different class, with 2 (max3) class spells.
I'm not a pro player but I think in this point of view the classes mechanics are lacking fantasy for melee, because we restriced to weapon abilities.
So If I wanna play, and feel like I'm laying a different class I have to go always magicka ?

I think this game realy needs some rework about stamina abilities, or just give us more morphs for stamina, I realy wanted to make a stamplar and a stam dk ( I like to use 2 hander) but when i started to play both they felt the same, so I guess just delete my stam dk or stamplar, because they are restricted to the melee abilities from weapons, in side with 2 (max 3) class stam abilities (lol).

I think something here is not realy good, we should have more abilities for stam, or at least morphs, to feel like im playing a different class.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think I'm not :)

Stamina Characters are more focused on weapon abilities than class abilities. My StamSorc and Stamblade both have basically the same bar setup swapping out one or two class abilities. Where as my MagSorc and MagBlade only share well of elements.

Yeah its is rather boring creatively. Everything is the same, nothing is left to the imagination. I guess this way its easier for the devs to balance but its boring as hell to play when your character selection consist of the same 3 or 4 races and most of the abilities can be acquired by any class while class specific skills are very limited in options they provide. Its a terribly designed system. It is better than the TES single player where you can be everything at the same time.

Stamina characters have all those weapons skills to use so unless more magkica weapons came along it wouldn't be fair

I have a stam character for each class, pvp or pve I have a hard time deciding which skills to slot and which ones to leave out.

I used to feel this way, “there should be a stamina morph for each skill”, but it isn’t necessary. Just because a skill is magicka, doesn’t mean it’s no use for a stamina character. I much rather have some skills Magicka, like buffs, because we do have a small Magicka pool that does need to be used.

This is the POINT mate, yes its boring cause if just take a pict from a stam dks or a stam templars bar, you cant tell the diffence lol.
I don't feel the difference, and that not okey.

Is there any way wher we could reach the devs? And ask them this question ?

We need more stam class abilities and more useful magicka abilities as well as weapons. Nothing new.

Stamplar actually has a unique feel due to jabs so idk why it would feel "exactly like your stamdk".

My main has been a stamina templar DPS for over four years through all the ups and downs of balance and game changes. With her, I have done pretty much everything the game has to offer, and always manage to do OK. Is she the absolute BiS in PvE or PvP? No, but she can complete all the content.

I always have gone my own way with her build. Currently she has dual wield on front bar and lightening staff on back bar. On her front bar, steel tornado is the only weapon skill. I use the back bar for sustain and heals, and big AOE skills like caltrops (in both PvE and PvP).

Point being that a melee stamina character does not need to only use weapon skills to be effective.
