I get the majority of my gold from crafting writs. I do up to 15 toons worth daily. Gold mats have about 30% drop chance from writs and I just take all the extras and sell them on the guild store. Any master writs I don't feel like doing also get sold off.
Selling the weird junk I find, and crafting stuff. I don't charge a set fee but I do ask for a tip, and a lot of buyers like that and tip me for several tens of thousands for maybe 10 minutes of work. It's not super reliable but I hate farming ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Tel var farming isn’t for everyone, but I think it’s the least boring. Need to have pvp skills, a good tanky build for bosses and willing to take a loss every now and then.
I mainly sell crafted furnishings, glyphs, tri-pots, Master Writ vendor items, and excess mats, recipes and intricates from doing writs or whatever else I do in-game.I also make gold from doing writs, doing dailies, thievery, tips from crafting services and vending various things I pick up from whatever I'm doing--IC, trials, dungeons, quests, fishing. Sometimes people give me very generous tips for helping them out or giving them a vamp/ww bite, even though I never ask for gold for those things. There's so many ways to make gold in this game that unless all you do is straight pvp, if it's hard not to make gold.
