Ok, i know how it works, but how many point can u spend in a horse attribute ? The horse can be level 50, so can we spend all 50 points in one of his stat ?

You can spend it all in one stat or spread it out as you want to.

Mounts can be bought at a stable in any major city (look for the horsehead on your map). There is no level requitements just a price tag.

    Mounts have three stats:

Speed - helps your horse to travel more quickly.

Stamina - helps your horse to gallop longer, and take more hits before becoming dismounted.

Capacity - increases carrying capacity. This means your capacity is increased while you have this horse with you.

    Horse types:

    Imperial Horse
Info: In-game reward for players who bought Imperial Edition. Same characteristics as Common horse.
    Price: 1 gold
    Speed: 15%
    Stamina: 10
    Carrying: 0
    Color: White

    Common Horse
Info: Skip this horse if you can, and save your money for more expensive one.
    Price: 17,200 gold
    Speed: 15%
    Stamina: 10
    Carrying: 0
    Color: Dark brown

    Draft Horse
    Info: Optimized for carrying capacity.
    Price: 42,700 gold
    Speed: 15%
    Stamina: 10
    Carrying: 10
    Color: Brown & white painted

    Gaited Horse
Info: Tough horse, can’t run fast, but can gallop longer, what makes him especially useful in Cyrodiil.
    Price: 42,700 gold
    Speed: 15%
    Stamina: 20
    Carrying: 0
    Color: Black

    Light horse
Info: Optimized for speed, useful for short distances.
    Price: 42,700 gold
    Speed: 25%
    Stamina: 10
    Carrying: 0
    Color: Light brown, black mane

Right after you get your first horse, you can start training it. Once every 20h, you can spend 250gold on food, at a stable, that will increase any one of the above stats by 1.

You can have several horses in your stable, but only one with you at a time.

Each horse has a level cap of 50 (you can feed it, and thereby upgrade its stats 50 times), therefore it is highly recommended that you dont waste money on buying the cheap common horse. The three more expensive variants have 10 more points from the start and will therefore be 20% more "powerful" at cap.

I happen to like my "common horse" thank you very much. I'm going to max out her speed. The only thing that will be able to out run her in a short sprint will be a maxed out light horse. I'll bet only a few players will have the discipline to put every point they have into the light horse's speed. I predict many will sell out for some carrying space or something.

She's gonna' be a "sleeper"! (like a fast car that doesn't look fast)

Here's a question I was wondering about. I'm pretty OCD about certain things so I set my Imperial Steed aside and got myself a Gaited Steed because I'm a sucker for the Speed/Stamina spread with a little bit of carrying space on top. My OCD decided that 16 was a sucky number for carrying space so I'm going to go with a more even one, say ... any multiple of 5. Because that's how I roll. Deal with it.

So my question is: Does the last point spent, regardless of the food type, always affect every stat? Because with my Imperial, I know for a fact I stopped with the carrying space at 15 and it still ended up with 16. Not sure if that's just with the Imperial or if it does that for every horse type.

Yes, it always affects all three stats.

Just note, the last point you put into your horse will give an extra point in all three categories. So say your at Speed +20, Bags +20 and Stamina +9 and you go to assign the last point to Stamina. You will end up with +21 Speed, +21 Bags and +11 Stamina. I think it would be +11 on Stamina, but the other two are definitely given an extra point.

This is only important if you want an even number for your bag spaces. Now I am going around with 111 or 121 bag spaces. The extra 1 kind of bugs me. If I had known this, I would have done a bag upgrade that ended in +14 or +19 before the final point was added.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

49 points not 50, the horse starts at level 1, and we get the stat points for each extra level, meaning 49 points.

And yes you can spend all the points into one stat, but the last levelling gives you a point in each stat, non-optional.
