    There is no set time frame for maintenance. On rare occasions (I.e., the last one) it only last for an hour. More commonly, the server doesn’t come back online for several hours (8 am, 9 am, 10 am EDT). And sometimes it lasts
    a good deal longer than that.

    EDT is the time zone. That's why they specify it, to avoid people asking dumb questions.
