Molten Armaments > Igenous Weapons still after summerset?

With the game becoming more light attack focused with Summerset, I'm wondering if Molten Armaments will still be relevant in dps rotations.

It might depends on how much of a buff ha is getting with the split between wd and max stats. It might be just fine for a ha build . I doubt it will be bis. Time will tell.

Does weapon damage include staves LA/HA or is that spell damage? This is something I’ve never been sure of, but I always assumed if it restores stam-it uses WD, and if it restores mag-it relies on SD. Anyone?

No ......my bad ...staffs scale from spell damage not weapon. Summerset they will scale off of spell damage and max magica.

Light and heavy attacks scale currently from both Max stat, max magic for staffs and Max Stam for axes, maces, swords, daggers and bow and the respective damage, spell for staffs and weapon damage for axes, maces, swords, daggers and bow. Zos I'd just changing the ratio of how they calculate the damages, right now it is 40 to 1, Max stat to damage for the calculation, next patch it will be around 10.5 to 1, which most skill ablitys scale at.

Thanks for the reply. Are they changing the sd and wd ratio as well or is that staying the same?

And to be clear on what 10.5 to 1 and 40 to 1 mean, those numbers mean that for every 10.5 max stat you raise by, it equal to having 1 damage point, like if you raised your max magic by 800, that would give you the same staff light attack damage increase that having 76 more spell damage would.

You did ask the same question, are they changing the spell/weapon damage ratio, if you meant the damage part of the max stat/damage ratio, then you still asked the same question. The only part changing is the max stat part. I suppose you could look at like they are nerfing the damage part but that is not accurate. You seem confused.
