Do you make characters that are not of the classic 10 races?

Yes, actually. Inspiration for my second character was khajiit subcrace: Alfiq. She is small, and talented in magic, the quiet one. Not quadro-pedal or size of a house cat, but close enough.

This. Reachmen are a mix of races, but mainly Breton, not Nord.

Mainly Breton, but they also have Nord/Orc/whatever else lives in the mountains of the Reach mixed in with that blood. What a fascinating race tbh.

If a small, very talented in magic khajiit is what you like, you could always go for the Dagi or Dagi-raht subrace. They have one thing that the Alfiq don't; the ability to speak.

Except they weren't short in TES, at least no shorter than the average elf, they were given the name Dwarf by the giants...

They were shorter than Nords and Chimer iirc.

There's that story about the Dwemer that pissed of the Nord and (it's the other one I'm foggy on) at the bar, and through being super quick and cunning killed them both essentially. - For a drink at the bar iirc
