This wasn't intentional and I didn't realise what I said until a few minutes after but it happened during a group run with two friends in a vet dungeon. The other person in the group was a friend of one of my friends.

We were OK doing the mobs but when it came to the bosses we kept wiping. I was spamming heals keeping the friends friend alive especially, but our total dps wasn't enough to down the boss quick.

So after maybe ten tries we gave up and I said on mic that we needed a tank to hold aggro. When we disbanded I stayed with one of the guys in the group and he started laughing saying the friends friend was the tank but that he was poop at being one.

My heart sank a little because I didn't look at who had what roles and assumed the guy was dps because of the way he was playing as well. I never saw him again but I hoped I didn't hurt his feelings.

when werewolf and vamp bites were all the rage --- i sold troll bites. i would have them follow me to where the troll is under the bridge in reapers march, i would go up to the troll and make a bunch of growling noises, lead the troll to the person who wanted the bite, the troll would attack him and i would ride away.

only did it once or twice but it was funny as hell

This was before One Tamriel and scaling. I was running my templar through World Bosses and having fun soloing them. A lowbie came up and started it attacking it with me, I let it kill him, the boss reset, I then nuked it before he got back up again and left

I was boss farming with a friend in IC one day, when we got the harvester to below 20 pct, the same lowbie who had followed and leeched on us through the other districts, suddenly stops hiding to come "aid" us with the last part of the fight.

Of course we stop attacking and let him do the rest, harvester heals up, we get it down to 20 again, stops attacking and boss heals up again, then finally kills the guy and he lose hes telvars xD it was so fun, i didnt even feel bad about it after

In my first HoF run someone pointed out a lorebook on the trash heap. You know the one with the rollerbois and centurions around it.

Well, me and a few other people in the voice chat get a clever idea to run right to it past the mobs and announce “priority lorebook” for the lulz. Everyone followed and we all died

I also use Ravage Health potions to stress my healer out, and pick up the Hardmode scroll right after someone in my group says "Dopa please dont grab the scroll this time".

I uh...I have a moment of shame to admit.

Somtimes...I rather enjoy hoping on my magic gankplar and hunt the players who cyrodil fears.
You know, the ones you see open world and go ok...I can kill him solo...Then you don't?
Yeap those guys.

One time while an amazing player named Quantum was trying to 1vX. Which he was doing to relative success, I waited for an opportunity for him to be on my side of the rock he was ringing around and smacked him with two 29k Tooltip dark flares...he took 20k from the flares and dropped from the rest before he could blink...Then I did it again later...

I've done it to a few others. Mostly from the top of keeps. Very funny when you hit an elite unshielded magsorc for a 16k dark flare, 8k javelin, 5k burning light.

Not my normal build, just one I role when I'm sick of trying to find good 1vX...I feel moments of shame while sinking around with the build...

Destroyed troupes of monkey's with lightning and a 2H Warhammer (with shock enchantment), then sifted through the little piles of monkey ash for dropped items. Then waited for them to respawn, and wiped them out again with AOE's.

Before 1Tam two friends and I were doing (scaled-down) DSA. A third guildie joined the chat party uninvited and when he heard where we were, decided he wanted to join us. We were on round 9, which is the one where the skeletons come up in dark circles and pull the unwary player below. We'd already tried it, just for S&G.
One of my friends told this guy that if you let the skeletons pull you under, there's a secret treasure room.

Down he goes. "There's no treasure down here!" he says, and comes back out.
"You have to kill the enemies down there."
Down he goes again. "There's still no treasure!"
"Oh, you have to wait for it to reset."
Down he goes again. "It's not resetting!"

I had to keep muting my mic

I also heard that he'd later taken OTHER people in there to find this mythical treasure.

Oh and when Homestead dropped we went to his house and stacked up all his pets in a tower and posed next to them. I heard he blamed someone else who wasn't even there...
