Players on the Xbox running Dolmes in one area than there are "players" compaining on these forums.

Thats a fact and Thats how little people care about your daily doom and gloom.

Last week the same posters were complaining about FREE crates this week a discount isnt enough.

Some people just cant be happy and Thats why 99% of players never step foot in here.

So if we are unhappy about something (e.g. an effective price increase) we should just shut up and say nothing??!

It's not the "free" part that's the problem.

It's the fact that the crates exist at all.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

Yes. It can be. A lot of people here wait until sales to stock up on crowns, to the extent that the sale price, for many, represent the baseline price. A quick search through threads under "crown sale" will show how applicable this is. So halving the reduction actually equates to a 33% increase.
Not being argumentative, just trying to help you see from other people's view point.

You mean like the people stating the fact that the crown discount this time isn’t as large as the discounts that came before?

Don’t buy. That will demonstrate your disgruntled reaction to the discount.

I have never heard of anyone walking into a store and complaining to the manager about the prices.

    They just don’t buy

People that are "complaining" do NOT want eso to die the slow death and/or are passionate in eso to go the 'right' direction not its current one.

Plus 99% of players cant access the forums because of the effort thats forced to get a account going. Not because they dont want to, more so they cant be bothered dealing with the automated responses.

    Fair enough...

I would never make a fool of myself and whine about the prices when shopping. I would make the choice to not purchase the product.

Wow talk about desperate to complain. A discount = price increase haha too funny.

If I'm selling to you something at 100$ (normal price, without discount), then with the first discount sale at 75$, and after just before the second discount, I increase the normal price to 150$. And finally proceed to sell again with the same 25% discount, the price will be increased (112.5 instead of 100), even if it's discounted.

This is basically what is happening in ESO.

Hence, a discount can hide a price increase.

You don't believe me? You have the numbers right there:

Could you show me where it says every discount will be the same?

So do you walk into a movie theatre at 8pm on Friday and complain cause you went on a Tuesday at noon and it was five bucks cheaper?

How about a grocery store? Do you run up to customer service and complain last week the tissues were $2.99 and this week they are $3.99?

Actually yes. If I bought something from the store for $39.99 and then it goes on sale for $24.99, you better believe I would return it and buy it again.

And if a store raised the price on an item from $24.99 to $39.99 I would go to the manager and express my displeasure and perhaps shop elsewhere.

And if a store discounts an item I buy every 6 months to from $39.99 to $24.99 and suddenly doesn't, yes I am going to voice my opinion about it to the manager and explain that they are loosing my money.

If they're a good store, they'll listen. Explain to me why they can't this time, and I will either choose to buy it or not. But the point is I will voice my opinion and usually stores listen to their customers.

The problem is that crowns are not physical items. They have no direct value. So there isn't some sort of scarcity or physical overhead cost. It's a money grab and/or marketing experiment. It's our duty as players to say "no" when we've had enough.

OP I am sure when you get slapped in the face, you say thank you. Fortunately, there are people who defend themselves. The problem is not the discount itself . The problem is the discount in comparison to the insanely high priced crown store items.
