The free to play model is the future, just look at the success of Fortnite.

Yes downside with an total F2P game is that you get way more trolls and boots.lordrichter wrote: »Twohothardware wrote: »No. But it's time to move Elder Scrolls Online to a free to play model where the base game is free and u just buy the DLC, Crown Store items, etc. The base game sells for less than $10 now so their not making their profits from that and this would generate a new additional stream of players each month. Until people stop buying the game, why should they make the base game free? There are certain advantages to selling that initial game, and once they make the jump, they can't go back. Best to wait until it is absolutely needed, and we ain't nowhere near that time, by my estimation.

ESO PLUS = ACCESS TO THE AUCTION HOUSE!
ID PAY FOR IT!
OK, so you want the Crafting Bag to be available without a Subscription. What do you propose to replace it with that gives me the same value for my sub?
People asking for this do not realize it will be the death of the game if this was to happen, simply because so many would unsub, the financial model of ZOS would probably not survive unless some things you don't want to happen became part of the Crown Store. The day this was announced would be the day I would ditch my sub.
So, really, pay your sub if you want the crafting bag.
