I had an issue where i misspelled my new character's name (I didn't capitalize it) I spent a good amount of time on the character and didn't want to remake it and i really didn't want to spend the crowns to do a name change token.

I reached out to customer support and explained what happened I also took full responsibility. Well they got back to me in less than 24 hours and granted me a rare exception and allowed me to fix it.

I just wanted to send them some love and give them the credit they deserve. I see a lot of people giving the support team a lot of flack, so i had my doubts that anything would happen, but I was fine with that, it was my fault after all.

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with the quick response and how they handled the ticket.

Good Job ESO Support Team! Keep up the good work!

I've had nothing but positive experiences with CS in this game. Every issue I've come to them with was quickly resolved (and I've contacted them a lot).

I haven't had many experiences with customer support (only 2) but they have both been positive. Kudos to you for letting it be known that your experience was positive.

It's good to learn you had a good experience with them, but when I have made similar mistakes, and they have been no help at all. I'm glad to read that they are better to some people.

Maybe it depends on which member of their team you get.

We need more of these . All we usually see are the bad experiences . I agree , they are pretty amazing . Lagged out once in PvP while on a cold fire ballista (that I just bought for 10k) and when I got back in it was gone . They replaced it :) Kudos to them.

Maybe, it might also be because i had just made the character within a day or two before reaching out to them. I'm not sure though. sorry to hear your experience wasn't as good, hopefully next time it will be.

How many crown crates do you buy each day? I'm guessing that's the only way to get their attention because I've had nothing but horrible experiences with them, and I know I'm not the only one. They take more than 2 days to reply to ANYTHING, and when they do its just a generic response. Then they move you "up" to an "expert" who basically tells you to turn it off and back on again.

When i play I have eso plus so i do get crowns from that. but i don't like to buy crown crates, I don't care for loot boxes. I've been playing on and off since the beginning. i don't think that has anything to do with it though. In the past i have had some no responses with them it was frustrating but that was years ago. my point of this post was that i feel like the team has gotten better at taking care of their customers. i feel it should be known.

Have had an ongoing issue with logging into characters....get either a TIME OUT or ERROR message. Support hasn't done anything...yet they wanted me to take a survey...I guess to see if the poor support made me feel bad about the game.

I'm pretty sure a major mess is on the way with more players and Summerset.....

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

I've only sent tickets to ESO customer support once or twice, but I've been very happy with the response each time. I'd bought one of the basic horse mounts from the crown store, and then it went on sale in a starter pack-- well, I sent support a ticket, and they were nice enough to immediately grant me a refund so that I could get the discounted version. :)

As OP said... to the customer support reps, keep up the great stuff.

Sorry to hear about that. i personally would reinstall the game, but I'm no expert, and that would definitely take some time depending on your internet. I hope you issue gets resolved.

One thing i would like to point out is that when i sent in my ticket I tried to be as genuinely nice and pleasant as possible. I wanted to be respectful to the person that would look at my ticket as well as being respectful to the rules. working in customer service can be tough, they deal with a lot of angry customers. so when they see someone being nice for a change it can change their prospective on how they look at the issue at hand. although this is a personal perspective.

Cant people remember where they've placed their sliders? I am always pulled away from the computer while making a character, and it takes all of 30 seconds to redo what I had lost.
