You should commit to an alliance and only that alliance.
as this guy said, alliance should be decided once and only once, but paying to change total alliance would be good but defo make it taxing as well as having a 45day CD so it cant be abused to switch to the winning 30day every so often.
tho account should only lock your account once you'v finished one PvP camp, or finished the main story for a one off choice of which faction are you going to side with, with PvP being insta locked due to the fact you already fight for them.

It needs to be specific to that character. So example. If you have DC on TF then only characters that are DC can be on that specific server.

That would ruin a lot of gameplay for those people who have friends in other factions..akredon_ESO wrote: »i think they need to put into the game Faction per server. So you solution would be to divide the playerbase in 3??? That would make most of the PvE areas very deserted

Good. Less lag and people diluting my material farming.

Basically, the question is in the title.
Should alliance change be implemented in this game?
I personally believe that it should be, after initially being against it.
From talking with other ESO players, I feel like a once-per-character alliance change keeps everyone happy, because:
1 - This way, you can't change factions willy-nilly, based on whichever faction is dominating whatever campaign you play, ergo keeping credit-card warriors from jumping factions constantly.
2 - this will also allow people who have for whatever reason chose to change alliance one opportunity to do that; it could be something as complicated as having a feud with guildmates from that alliance, to something as simple as that you don't like the colors
I'm personally voting yes, and here is why: at console launch, I didn't know that Cadwell's silver & gold existed, and I was under the impression you only got to experience the storyline of whichever alliance you chose. My first character was an AD character, but I've came to be a DC player at heart, due to social relationships struck up with blue players. My main, however is still a yellow. I would very much like to have him change to being a DC character.
I also realise that I could just re-roll, and that it is not hard to grind EXP if you know what you are doing - however, I work 50+ hours a week and have many sporting commitments as well. For me to get a new toon to max would take months. Skill points, guilds, undaunted, research, mount speed etc etc are all ridiculously time consuming and I know for a fact that this game does lose people over this.
What say you?
