Ginas Post from 26.1.2018:
Starting after this combat update, we will be shifting to doing these quarterly rather than monthly. As you’ve noticed, most of our major combat changes arrive in our quarterly game updates, and we’d like to utilize our written combat updates to give you an early look at what we’re planning. We were finding that subsequent combat updates were becoming “we’re still working on the things we mentioned before” without providing much substance. We want these combat updates to be both meaningful and impactful – changing them to quarterly will ensure that’s the case.

When can we expect the new update?

Which 3 points would you add to the wishlist of the topics?

Which 1 point would you hate to see on such a list?

Share your thoughts.

    1. I'd love to hear their view on the relation between different forms of PVP and class performance going forward. Some classes excel in some forms of PVP (e.g. large-group keep battles) but suffer greatly in others (e.g. small-scale PVP like Battlegrounds). A prime example of this is the magicka warden, which next patch will have nearly none of the tools a class needs for solo/small-scale PVP, but can still be a formidable force in the middle of a group of several allies. Contrast this with the stamina nightblade, which excels 1v1 or 1vX but has considerably less to offer a group than most other specs. (On the other hand, a few classes are at the top of the food chain at all scales of PVP.) Is this just an accident of the way the meta has evolved? Or do the devs intend some classes to be functionally locked into certain roles or scales of PVP in Cyrodiil and BGs? What is the vision for class viability at all scales and scenarios of PVP going forward?
    2. Do they have any plans to make solo PVE/quest content engaging and rewarding for high-level players (beyond the bog-standard "unequip your armor and CP" advice)?
    3. Give us an update on the class representative program. When will representatives be announced, what is the plan for receiving feedback from them, and what is the timeline for responding to it?
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.
