Hi everyone, this is a really amazing house so made a montage for it in 4K. Judging by the trends this will be available for 4 days and then likely not for a year at least. Hope you enjoy.

One of the largest homes in the game...

... limited by the amount of furniture that can be placed ....

... visible to a limited number of players.

Unless this house is instanced, without any limits, it's a complete waste of money.

I might have bought this house (been saving up my ESO+ Crowns for a while) but they took too long to put it up for sale. Now I’m holding out for the Aldmeri Grotto.

This house is like 4-5 times bigger than Hunding's Palatial Hall, but only has 100 additional furnishing slots. Seeing that my Hunding's is at the furniture cap and not even properly decorated, this Palace will be really really empty.
I "tested" this house when it was on the PTS and while it is really beautiful, the furnishing limit will keep me from buying it as it will only lead to frustration on my end. I remember needing around 100 slots for lightning only, as the interior is really dark.

Housing would be 100x cooler if players could walk by houses of other players in the realm. The fact that housing is all instance based and you can only see them if you are on a friends list and you port there makes the real nice ones seem worthless to me.

Games that have non instanced homes suffer a lot of different problems, most casual players can never own a home, let alone something large. Also you end up needing a huge amount of player housing districts which aren't always easy to fit into the lore and world, especially after the game is designed. Still holding out for a good implementation of this in the future.

Did you try with the double cap for ESO Plus of 700 items, isn't that 200 more than Hundings?

    I guess:
Costs 15,000 crowns for the unfurnished version and 18,800 crowns for the furnished one.

120 Euro at least. Seen the house myself and there is no way i can furnish it with low limit. Its just to big.

They could surprise us all and up it last minute to something like 800-1000, after seeing all these messages saying people won't buy it because of the limit.

The comment was more aimed at the fact that this house is way too huge for the 700 item limit, and no matter how you decorate it, it will ned up looking half-empty. It is also overly dark, and unless you use 100+ item slots only for chandeliers and candelabras, it will end up gloomy and dank, and even if you do, you will have even less item slots free for actual furniture.

I'm aware of how the housing functions and how to buy them, seeing as I own a large chunck of them myself.

no, 100 more is WITH ESO plus. houndings has 600 slot limit with ESO plus, this one is 700.

that said... personaly, I'm weak. despite much too low of a furnishing limit for the size, despite the crown only large price tag... its hitting all my "omg, must have!" buttons, so... yeah :/

Yes, I tried it with the double cap for ESO Plus.
Hunding's has 300 slots by default, so 600 with ESO+.
Princely Dawnlight palace has 350 slots, which is 700 with ESO+.

That is understandable when the Linchal Grand Manor, and Topal Island are in a similar boats and no longer available. Its quite awesome to have a friend or guild leader who has access to these.

You may need to be sparse with your placement in the exterior if you want more interior. It really only limits those who want to be immensely dense in the exterior as well as the interior and create sub areas with walls and ceilings or dense foliage etc. but if you can deal with some creative limitation then it can be good.

Also I note that you can climb all of the roof but not the highest rocks or the highest wall near to the entrance with the tower, but there is some pretty good space up there on the roof between the tower and the rock cliffs.

People need to stop buying these huge manors until something is done with the item limit. I see why you may want one for yourself, but having multiple manors at this point is a bit ridiculous. I hope that decrease in demand will show ZOS it's high time they did something with the furnishing limit issue

There is definitely a lot of space. Unfortunately with the limits imposed by ZOS, even if you are a Plus, you wont be able to populate it. What a waste.

One of ZoS' best possible money-making moves would be:
    • Hire a computer science intern.
    • Have her look through the code for housing until she figures out how to increase the item limit.

Fancy houses would sell a lot better after that.

I have the Linchal Grand Manor.
I use it as a storage unit for the stuff that won't fit in our Guild Hall (Ebonheart Chateau)..Lol.
As is, each time I add a new Crafting table, I have to "Remove" something to make room. And with 45 new Jewelry Tables coming, well, guess I will just end up with a court yard empty except crafting stuff.
Please ZoS, raise housing caps!! Huzzah!!
