Re the datamined Gauntlets...

As a loyal MagDW player I'm hoping ZOS are filling the gap that they are making by finally killing off MagDW in Summerset.....And that this is finally the fabled 1H & Rune/Gauntlet skill line....

Hell at this point id be happy for the gauntlets to work fully like the destro skill line but just mean no staff in my hands.

Wizards with dual wands is really dull, give us diversity in weopon choice ZOS please!

    If i was in the mood to hope something i would hope for them to remain as only cosmetic items.

    It's just going to be more cosmetics which stand out and look "cool" so people buy them. I'm sad to see more and more "flashy" items hitting the store, mostly because I've played SWTOR and seen how far it goes.

    ESO 2020 will be like a neon rave show in towns.

    I know what you mean @Turelus it started out a real authentic, European medical style on the whole. Now we have all sorts going on.

    The clockwork mount triggered me the most. It's ridiculous.

    We all said and knew it would go in this direction once a cash shop came in. They need to one up everything that came before and make things look flashy and awesome to drive sales.

    I mean it started well and I gave them some leeway with things like the Flaming Courser and Frost horse but lately every mount is burning, sparkling, glowing explosion of colour.

    It is what it is though, makes me sad but the gameplay and content is still fun to play so I won't go anywhere.

    i'd heard the game has vastly improved since launch, but i never knew it used to be that bad. mercury and leeches and much much worse... ;)

    If this game was like SWTOR we would already ride on the giant siltstrider mounts and have 100 other different mounts to choose in crown crates. Happily it's not happening. Anyway SWTOR still looks pretty ugly in comparison to ESO.
