Guild Trader QoL update needed

This has been said too many times, but in case Zeni hasn't noticed yet:

PLEASE update the trader system PLEASE

With 50+ motifs and 100s of recipes and furnishing patterns, finding things you need on a trader is an absolute nightmare.
I'm so sick of sifting through 100s of Deadric Benches, CW Control Panels (I already have 8 copies due to the most trolled loot table ever) and Merc motifs to find the few missing items. Same with trying to find specific gear pieces...

What we need is;
- search function (like we already have in CS furniture shop...)
- "hide known motif/recipe/blueprint" toggle.

I know some of this is fixed by addons for PC, but we NEED this on console too!
I get so sad with every patch note update not containing anything about these QoL issues.

I'd rather hide them, as it saves on scrolling for hours. It already says if it can still be learned

Honestly, I don't know how I'd function without my guild trader add-on. I use a decent number of QoL add-ons for convenience, but the guild trader one is my must-have necessity. I do not envy console players their lack of such a feature.

ZOS should have added AwesomeGuildStore to the UI years ago. It really makes shopping around 100x better.

Yes I agree with your suggestions.

I would also like to add, it would be nice for a toggle for "last used" search parameters or such. What I mean is, every time I go to a new guild trader I have to change the sorting to recently added and sit while it takes forever to process my request. I hate how every time I go to another guild trader, it defaults back to lowest price - forcing me to switch the sorting and wait for another refresh.

When I go to a new store I want my opening window to always be search by recently added, with most recent at the top. I will switch manually to search by lowest price if that is what I am looking for but it's almost always recent items (that's where the best deals are).

And again like you said - a search system, and filter for unknown/known recipes are a must if they ever decide to update this interface.

Seeing as how we still have bugs from three years ago floating around, I don’t think functionality is high up on ZOS’s priority list, despite is being sorely needed.

AwesomeGuildStore is what the base UI should be, and it’s really pathetic that a freelancer probably with a job of their own could make that when ZOS couldn’t or wouldn’t.

As it stands, hunting for a particular motif or weapon makes my eyes bleed* from the constant scrolling. Constantly backtracking because I thought I'd seen what I was looking for....only to find it was something I may want, but in order to check I'd have to leave the guild trader and check my inventory / achievement list.

Which would put me right back at the beginning...scrolling through pages...

* obviously not literally, because if my eyes really were bleeding I'd have bigger concerns than finding a motif page.

I can only search through a few traders looking for specific motifs before I need to take a break...

it really is a pain in the eyes...

it's weird the motifs aren't even broken down into basic categories: full book, weapons, armor...

I would also go so far as to request PLEASE add a SEARCH TERM function.
We have it in the new Outfit system - how difficult would it be to have it search for only Dreadhorn motifs or Khajiit furniture, as examples?

Also as I noted on the PTS Patch Notes thread, could we also PLEASE have some other basic QoL improvements:

Reply To on email.
A Sent email list.
The ability to craft multiples.
The damn Enchanting tables remembering WHAT runes we slotted (the Alchemy can remember what ingredients we slotted!)
Show on-screen what the writ requirements are so we don't have to keep backing out if we can't remember.

I agree. Looking for a staff motif, select woodworking and motif and still have to comb through every motif listed on that trader. Why?

Sometimes I still get master writs for a style I don't know. (That's happening less and less.) I usually start with my guilds, if I'm gonna pay guild store prices, I would much rather send it to a friend than someone I don't know. My guilds are smaller and our traders are not in the main cities, so we usually have a small discount from Wayrest or Mournhold. If we don't have what I need listed, I will usually head to Wayrest. I would like to shop around but usually by the time I see the item I'm so done with guild stores that I just pay whatever price for the first one I find.

When I look for something specific, I know whether it is wood, metal, clothing or a recipe. I should not have to scroll through 20 pages of the same stuff, listed at the same price.

Just venting but I do agree with everything posted above.

you forgot to add, put the "known already" sign at the top.
having to scroll down, holing the right stick to scroll the recipie, keeping your eye fixed in one spot just for a change in word pattern to "use to learn" is literally dangerous for your health. this crap can cause fits or seizures!

Really helpful, thanks for your input.
Some of us have mortgages, kids and no disposable income to a) buy a PC that is capable of running ESO and b) the ongoing funds to upgrade it whenever we want to play a more recent game.

Nor do I have the desire to start all over again. I sort of started over on the NA server, and even though I already had some mats etc it sucked.
Not to mention that most console players don't want cheats Addons.

Yes Yes... This current Guild trader system needs some major overhauls. One thing I would be very happy with, the ability to search by set name only so my results display only the SET I am looking for (IE weapons, jewelry and gear).

Yes, absolutely these things. Text search and known/unknown (for traits, recipes and motifs) should absolutely be incorporated into the base UI.

AGS is great (for those of us on PC) but it can take 30-60s of self-scrolling to find a page that actually has items on it. Assuming a request doesn’t get delayed and mess up the whole process.

This needs to be reliable and that means: base UI

Yeah it's high time console players had something like this. I don't know how I would manage without AwesomeGuildStore. The only suggestion I can make in the meantime is to use TTC on the web, I think they have console info now and you can at least see which guild traders have what you are looking for. Doesn't help with having to scroll through everything else though unfortunately. It really is something that should have been implemented from launch imo.
