Which one is, I think. I left Warden just because it exists, but it is not cheesy-overpowered, so it is obviously least played class.

    PvP or PvE?

I think Nightblade is popular in both right now, but I wouldn't personally say anything outweighs everything else to the extreme.

Huh. With the amount of bears I keep seeing, not sure about that but...it's all kind of moot to me. My least favourite is what probably is the favourite, NBs. I have one of each class (at least) and for the most part I prefer ranged to melee.

See a lot of DKs but Warden has been catching up in PVP.

Thought about it a while though, and I think it has a lot to do with them being tanky and wanting to get out in front and be seen. The other classes often stick to the Zerg or in NB case; the question is that I see. Hard to see NBs sometimes.

Actually, I thought completely otherwise: running in PvE, I see mostly DKs and Sorcs, but not NB.

The amount of Night Blades in PVP is absolutely disgusting, the Kill night blades task you get there is completed faster than Kill enemy players... followed very closely by Sorcs two of the most easy mode classes in the game.

I don’t think I’ve really noticed any single class being much more prevalent than others. I mean, with five different classes available you’re bound to see a good variety everywhere you go. You could argue that this balance is a little tipped in Cyrodiil though.

i Dont call warden a Pet class

they have ONE single Pet and is taking an Ult slot... the Others are just ability efects that use Animal/bug skins/effects basicaly lol

we have ONE pet class and thats the Sorc.

I tend to kill roughly equal amounts of Sorcs, Nightblades, and Templars in PVP. I've killed half as many DKs as any one of those 3, and half as many Wardens as I have DKs.

      So it's something like:

      28% Sorc

      28% NB

23% Templar (toughest class for me to kill FWIW)

      14% DK

7% Warden (Easiest class for me to kill)

Sorcs...everyone plays sorcs, since it seems to be easy mode...shields, mobility, damage, healing...and pets(for those who like that sort of thing)...generally speaking the most versatile class around. I even made one myself...but I really dont like to play it, its just not fun for me.

        • Nightblade: 284 (24%)
        • Warden: 21 (2%)
      • Halls of Fabrication
        • Dragonknight: 157 (26%)
        • Templar: 143 (24%)
        • Sorcerer: 128 (21%)
        • Nightblade: 158 (27%)
        • Warden: 10 (2%)
      • Asylum Sanctorium
        • Dragonknight: 147 (14%)
        • Templar: 208 (20%)
        • Sorcerer: 280 (27%)
        • Nightblade: 367 (36%)
        • Warden: 22 (2%)
      • Total
        • Dragonknight: 1697 (24%)
        • Templar: 1569 (23%)
        • Sorcerer: 1777 (26%)
        • Nightblade: 1743 (25%)
        • Warden: 160 (2%)

Exception made of Asylum Sanctorium, the diversity between the 4 original classes is actually well spread out. There have been no real shift to roles, with DKs sticking to tanks, templars to healers and NBs / Sorcerers being used as DDs. Only the warden is left out, as it doesn't really outshine any spec at anything, on top on requiring Morrowind, locking them at such a low percent.

It goes roughly like: Sorc ~= Nightblade ~= DKs > Templars >>>>>>>>> Wardens

As for PvP, I had Kill counter a patch ago where it went: Sorc ~= Nightblade > DKs ~= Templars > Wardens. Altho it might have changed a bit in favor of NBs since then.

So from a purely statistical perspective:
      1. Sorcerers
      2. Nightblades
      3. DKs
      4. Templars
      5. Wardens

In over 8 months time I have seen a total of maybe 6-9 mag dks regularly.
