Well it's cool that you're trying something different but mag or stam builds will always be stronger. The only way for a hybrid to be competitive, is for them to crutch on broken sets/mechanics...

    ...or cloaking in duels ;)

I do serveral fights with my opponent running peircing mark (no stealth for me). My build is definatly an open world build first and has a natural advantage in terrian so a 1v1 open field without stealth is arguably the most difficult duel this build could engadge in.

Trust me when i say, its not cheese that is making hybrids strong, its that access to good buildcraft that hybrids diddnt have until jewlrey crafting. Feel free to check out some of my other hybrid specs if you like, they run a variety of sets across the classes and use a variety of weapon/skill combinations.

I always thought that hybrid was the general go-to in small scale PvP? (Mainly play NB)

Stagger your rolls and cloaks for added survivability, allowing you to replace defensive GCDs with Offensive GCDs

As I said I don't mean to attack your build. It's cool and all that people still play hybrids.

This does not however change the fact that hybrids will always be less effective than mag/stam builds. Your build relying on 2 proc sets (dmg that doesn't scale off your stats) proves my point. And even with jewelry crafting and procs (one with oblivion dmg even) your build struggles against a mediocre magblade.

I can't stress this enough: Fun build and you're a good player. I just don't agree with it being as "competitive" as mag or stam builds.
