I disagree, I came here to the forums just now to ask if there is a way to re-watch the intro because I enjoyed it. It's the same as with Skyrim when you first enter the game in the back of the horse carriage, there's no need for CGI because the intro leads straight to the character creator, just like other ES games, they did it right. You can connect with the story/characters much better imo when they use the in-game engine. I will agree with you that it was pretty pixelated though, and I am confused as to why neither of the two cinematic trailers aren't anywhere to be found in the game.

i liked the intro, but it did look pretty pixilated...i do like how it wasn't CGI so it makes you feel like it is part of your game, you continue where the video ended like it was your game.
the problem i have with it is that if you watch it, you can't zoom into your character or hear its voice when you are creating. idk if this is always but i know it happened for me and 5 of my friends. i am pissed off that i couldnt zoom in and ended up creating an ugly character because i didnt know that was the problem at the time.
I very much liked it... the whole ritual stuff and the camera flying through Coldharbor, wit hthe music rising actually gave me goose bumps... reminded me alittle of Oblivion.
