Jewellery crafting

What are your thoughts on the implications with sets like vicious death and jewellery crafting? Will it be possible to change the traits to robust? If so, although you still have a magica set on meaning losing a Stam set bonus, would the extra Stam from the jewellery be enough to be an effective bow killer and then have vd go off?

Yes, its possible to transmute the jewelry trait to robust as long as you have that trait researched.

Its always been possible to kill people with VD on a stam build, you just didn't get much from the set bonuses. Now you'll get a little extra stam if you were using jewelry. So if you were already using VD jewelry as a stam build, you just got a slight buff.

jewelery crafting should be base game content, but you have to own Summerset to craft jewelery. But somesome else can make jewelery for you as long as they have Summerset.

This is true as in you can buy crafted jewelry and upgraded overland sets.
You can not change traits as you can not research them, nor can you upgrade.
Note that you can probably give jewelry to some others in group have them improve it and give it back.
This is especially nice in normal trials.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Outside of jewelry crafting and the new Skill line, there really isn't too much that screams buy me buy me, so it makes sense as to why they did that. Dont worry though next year they will shift jewellery crafting to base game and say "everyone should be able to experience it" like they did with battlegrounds :)

Fyi; I pre ordered summerset lol this is all just my opinion

Well, TESO is the first MMO where I see that kind of reactions.
Every other MMO end up releasing add-ons containing new functionalities, classes, tiers of equipments ... and no one even bat an eyelid.
Here, in TESO, everyone cry "pay to win". ..it isn't.

Frankly, think a little. Must ZOS release a dlc where everything would be available in base game anyway? What would be the commercial point?

Because console players have less exposure to mmos and so don't know the norms of mmo expansions such as content being normal to be locked behind a paywall.

Ah, yes ! Thanks, that must be it, yes.
My apologies to the console players if I seemed a bit contempting, then. I hadn't though of that.
