Why does this feel like a math problem?
Because we were brainwashed for years into thinking of such useless situational math problems. I mean have you honestly ever stood at a street corner with two friends and said if Daren takes that street moving at 2 km per hour and mike goes that way at 6km per hour and I go straight at 1km per hour who will reach the store first? Don’t forget to convert km to miles and that you have a stop light on your route that stops traffic for 5 seconds every 30 seconds.
The math problems should have been if I earn X amount every month and have to pay Y in living expenses and Z in taxes will I even be able to afford to hang out with friends.

Shake those boxes, they might be empty.
