1. Goes against the idea of the grind. Why not 30 days? 90? or the full 180 days? If you only have to log in every 10 days, you are hardly getting daily training. It's immersion breaking and very "gamey" so I don't think ZOS would go for it. They seem to value a bit of realism in most of their game mechanics.
1) pre-pay mount upgrades, up to 10 days in advance. Upgrades would still the same amount of time to enact.
2) undaunted chest keys as currency so each toon doesn't have a bunch of them, they'd be in an account wide purse
3) daily random countdown timer so we know when it gets reset for the extra x
Please.

That has nothing to do with it. The reason its on a timer is to encourage daily logins, plain and simple.

I would have to agree with you Tyrobag. Plus, IMO, I do not understand how is it not “gamey” to log in for 10-20 seconds a day just to train mounts on my alt’s and then log off. To me, it makes much more sense to go to the NPC, make an arrangement for them to feed/train my mount for a week or so, and then be on my merry way.
