Would you like a companion APP for ESO?

PC has the privilege to have some very useful and helpful Add-Ons, be it ones that help with guild trader pricing and "market trends" to others that give an impressive amount of data as it pertains to your performance. Combat Metrics, among others looks to be amazing. We on console would like the ability to see and use these QoL improvements but we can't get add-ons. Some say it is a limitation of the hardware, others say it is Sony or Microsoft, either way we don't have much. My questions is, since ZoS seems comfortable with providing the API to those that wish to create Add-ons, why not a companion app, clearly the data is generated so why can't we have some of the same things? Destiny has an app, Call of Duty had a companion app for a long time, the API is made available so what do you think?

Almost every app is either useless or limits its features, filled with ads, and so poorly written, battery life is consumed in 20 minutes.
I'm so sick and tired of poorly written apps.

Please don't be that guy, I spend enough time on the forums and with the members of my guilds to safely state that "We" on consoles for the most part would like the additional conveniences that Add-Ons bring. maltinkilic✭✭✭I play on PC and in the past we couldn't see the buffs on HUD and had to use add ons. Now it can be set up in game menu (I still use my old add on) so why not implement this for other add ons. I am sure every PC player has Skyshard Hunter add on. Zos can add this feature to game where console players can see where shards are. If they are against it they can simply turn it off. Same can go for most popular add ons.1

I am all for taking some of the good or most useful add-ons and providing them to consoles, I guess I just presume that ship has sailed, so I was looking for an alternative. Lore Books, Skyshards, Combat Metrics, and TTM are the ones that I would think would be great and not to cumbersome on the system. The fact is most wont use the app either from not knowing about it, not wanting to pay for it or not wanting to use it.
For example wow has over 100,000,000 registered accounts, only 5,000,000 downloads not even 1/2 of their current subs have downloaded it and blizzard is deactivating the AH portion because not enough players were using it.
Destiny has sold somewhere around 10,000,000 copies and Ishar has 500,000 downloads. Clearly the majority of those who play these games do not use these apps so again you dont know what the community wants.
With that said an I would use the app but im not going to pretend to speak for others im just going to use facts and say it appears the majority would not.

I'm talking about ESO and the lack of the information feedback that Add-ons can provide. As for Destiny (on Console) I am talking about the official Destiny App, not the Ishar, the official app. I played an obscene amount of D1 and didn't play unless the app was open, as it allowed you to access your bank, see performance in Raid, switch gear between characters, etc. This is what I am talking about and wanting. Not sure what you're so against. I would like an APP, and generally speaking We on consoles would too, I didn't state some derogatory opinion that I then labeled the entire console population up to. Get over myself ? You are the one who claimed to speak for the entire community. 5,000,000 is not a big number when there are 100,000,000 accounts.
Im not against anything just pointing out you dont speak for the console community. I provided facts the majority of console players dont use 3rd part apps/websites you claim "we" do.

Hairy Molag Bol, someone got triggered! In the big scheme of things, this is a non-important thread about a non-important video game for crying out loud! The results of the poll are highly irrelevant since Zos lacks any control over consoles. They cannot even submit an update when they choose but have to go through an approval process.
It is well known that consoles lack addons like PC due to the company that you choose to play through. On PC we play through ESO. On Consoles you play through Microsoft or Sony.
So again, this poll will have zero sway on Zos since it is not their show on consoles.

The main reason why console users don't use Tamriel Trade Center, is that every entry needs to be added manually. On the console we don't have the add-on, that syncs with the server when a player uses it.0 -

A companion book app would be cool, too, to catch up on the books you didn't have time to read in the dungeons (especially the ones that disappear after you read them). MilwaukeeScott✭✭✭✭✭Yes, I would like a companion APPSony/Microsoft restrict who and what kind of programs can access their game servers. While apps for consoleS are an option, for ZOS it would be a very expensive and time consuming option.
ESO is on a 10 year business plan. They can't give us everything in year 1. Jewelry Crafting took 3 years on console.
In the coming years we should see Guild Halls, Flying Mounts, Spell Crafting maybe even Sea Battles. Let your imagination run wild for years 7, 8 and 9!!!
Instead of Apps, Zos will probably try to incorporate some of the very good apps into the game. Like the one that lets you change your armor with a click of a button or the one that helps with Lore Books and Skyshards.
We got Combat Numbers and Buff Trackers now. That's what leads me to believe this is what's happening.
For now, just enjoy being the Master Race as the only addons we use is our skill!!PS4NA
