Hybrid Nightblade Build is Overpowered?

Could it be? Have hybrids finally come into the realm of... OP? Will we see the most elusive "Nerf Hybrids" Thread?

All jokes aside, this build is seriously powerful. I was blown away with hybrid nightblade in the summerset patch. It's easily the strongest hybrid build i have ever played, and its looks well... you'l have to watch it. Can I say Resto DOT Gank?

This really really interests me as i gave up being nightblade because its all cookie cutter crap.. gotta say i might make this..

Very interesting, thanks op i like outside of the box builds.. at least before it becomes a box anyway..

1 build for a class has something that's imbalanced so an entire spec possibility is op.

Can someone explain all of the replies that are before my post, I read them over and over and I am struggling to understand. Especially the last two. Or maybe I am not meant to understand

I don't buy the hybrid sales talk though

Like your thinking although you seem to find a number of players in some of your video's who aren't particularly trying that hard to kill you. Pretty cool though.

I always enjoy your build videos, but the unbuffed tooltips on some of the abilities look seriously low. 9K Vigor? 13K Assassin's Scourge? Ugh.

Why do I have a feeling that Sload’s Semblance Set is doing 90% of job in this build...

It seems like Viper set after being nerfed to oblivion will have a successor...

Viper set:
(5 items) When you deal damage with a Melee Attack, you deal an additional 6400 Poison damage over 4 seconds. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.
Will Viper dot also proc Sload’s Semblance ? Seems a bit crazy...

Don't think too much about Dwem, he quotes himself and writes "quoted for truth" below

Sometimes he even changes the names so it's not as easy to see

Yeah, I'm beginning to suspect Hybrids might finally be here again. There was a Hybrid Templar build posted a couple of weeks ago thats also hella strong.

I know there’s a hybrid Sorc somewhere in there. Been thinking of Sloads semblance but also pelinels and alchemist once jewlery crafting is on. I was already have some success with a SB or DW and destro build a while back. Shocking wall of elements is very strong on a stamina based Sorc. They’re also capable of reaching high levels of both stam and mag as well as sustain for both thanks to their passives and shock and physical damage boosts basically begs for a hybrid.

Yes this build sports low tooltips compared to its counterpart hybrid specs, a big part is the skoria and sloads not giving allot of max stat. The fact that the master bow (which gets us to 4700 wep/spell fully buffed) doesnt show up either makes then look even worse.

This is common for dot builds tho as they need those extra dot sets to function well in pvp

It's a stamblade with some hybrid aspects, so your new gameplay video reminded me of it. I use tri-pots or Immov / Detect / Mag pots, Atro mundus, and regen drinks, which allows me to perma-cloak. It's a heavily cloak-based defense, rather than the usual dodge roll / Eternal Hunt defense. This came from me being used to magblade. I gave up Surprise Attack for the Concealed speed buff. My spammable is Shrouded Daggers, which has some crazy utility against flag guards, pet builds, and people trying to blend into a crowd. I don't think it's a good duelling spec, missing the penetration debuff, but I've had a lot of fun in IC with it.
