I'm Not overwhelmed with my vampire I don't really see it as an enhancement.
and off topic a little It would be cool if there was a way to shift to WW for a set period of time out of battle .
Maybe a potion so people could be a WW in appearance for RP purposes.

Also, a vampire form that gives you more active abilites would be nice to have indeed, but people just gave up begging for it...

mist form is a top tier defense in general tho I Don't use it
I decided to try a Vampire build because I thought it might be a good Tank build. Vampires historically being such badasses lol.
I don't hate it but I only use a couple of the skills in combat and use 2 handed or other melee instead.
BUT I am not the best tank either sooooo
I don't have a WW but my friends who do say that they are much more fun , and a better ultimate.

Well for sure it's not an enhancement. Who would seriously cripple themselves with -75% health regen just for +10% magicka regen ?

Vampire could be tank at a very, very high health, where the Drain would give a huge chunk of HP even when nerfed by Battle Spirit. The thing is, Undeath triggers when you're below 50%. So if you have 40k health, it would trigger below 20k. If you have 20k health, it would trigger below 10k. So if you're at 13k and receive damage, Undeath won't help you. And when you'll be below 10k you'll be trying to heal yourself. And if you don't do that, a few hits will knock you dead, with all that Undeath... So no, vampire tank is more of a joke than something real.

Drain is unfortunately of no use in PVP. Everyone would know you're a vampire. Plus that it needs a target. If it would work silently, and without graphics, it would be quite cool, like Dragon Blood.
Mist form is completely, utterly unusable because it blocks magicka regen. Magicka can be obtained with Balance, which cost health, but health can't be obtained because of the 75% impair. Let's also not forget that Balance used to give Major Fortitude long ago...
But overall, unless somebody really needs the 10% magicka regen so bad, being a vampire is a big thumbs down.
To me this health impairment is also very much anti-lore. In lore, be that Elder Scrolls or vampire lore in general, these are formidable creatures, with a lot of health regen, strength and magic abilities.
It would be interesting to have ZOS turn it around:
- put a -75% health received impairment, so that you can't be healed properly (remember you can't heal Serana)
- but a +75% health regen (or +30%, something like that Hircine thing werewolves have), to mimic the vampires from the stories (and even Lamae Bal - whose wounds have healed on their own)
- some magicka/stamina buffs.
But I doubt ZOS would repair vampires, it's like they're screwed by design.

The part I made fat would completely kill vamp in PvP, and probably also in PvE. Add defile onto that and you can't be healed at all. Even bone pirate doesn't gimp your healing by that much. Might as well remove vamp from the game if you make that change.

Well I wrote that as a bone thrown to ZOS. There's gotta be some drawbacks to being a vampire, otherwise everyone would be. And a -75% health received impairment would make you a loner. You ain't gonna be healed in groups. You will rely on yourself. But if I managed to push a Nord Sorc to about 4k health regen, then hell a +75% bonus wouldn't just be awesome...
P.S. And Mist Form, even with Magicka bar blocked from regen, could be financed by simply casting Equilibrium...
P.S.no. 2. Totally forgot about Orgnum's Scales!

You know that healing recieved also applies to your own heals right? It will also gimp your self heals by 75%. 75% extra health regen won't come close to compensate that, even when you build to be a regen troll tank since defile can easily reduce your regen by 60%.
Yeah, I don't know why people are calling for buffs when vampire is pretty OP already. We need less pale, ugly mofos in the game, not more.

you can mitigate the no magicka Regen in mist form by using desert rose
