Just a thought, might be interesting to design a dungeon for:

Survival Test dungeon which could focus on healer tank combo.
Damage Dealing Dungeon for DPS combos

"Maelstrom Arena" type for two would also be cool, that way tanks and healer mains could have something too and might be a good fit to run with a DPS.

Could be fun and be a better way of challenging people and testing themselves to see where they stack up=)

    An arena for 2 would be great.

    It s great to take a good buddy and duo some 4- man content. Depending on the dung you pick it can be easy or not.

    But a real arena for 2, as tough as vMA was, would really thrill me. Duo is the simplest and purest form of teamplay imo.

    This is where Delves are suppose to come into play, even though they are easily soloable. I'm guessing you're referring to a 2-person group delve type of "dungeon" like the group delves in Craglorn?

    I think delves would benefit from a zone scale system. I know they got rid of these gated levels in One Tamriel; but I think that if more bosses that reside in delves in more late-game areas (Reapers March, Rift, Bangkorai, etc.) were to be buffed (more health, harder hits, introduction to mechanics, etc.) then it would make delves a lot more fun/interesting.

    Or implement a hard mode system within delves that is designed to promote pair/group play.

    My son and I have 2 manned almost every dungeon now and a bunch on Vet as well as DSA. Dual Pet Sorcs for the win! We have a blast. Got self heals, some crowd control and off to the races.
    Celebrate for life is short but sweet for certain.

    lol survival test, meaning you keep adding damage to them until they die. You would eventually die

    I'd be 200% okay with short 2 Player Dungeon "Co-Ops" that are either easier compared to 4 player Undaunted Dungeons (to help introduce players to multiplayer dungeon mechanics) and/or Veteran/Hard Modes of the 2 Player Dungeon "Co-Ops" that are a similar difficulty to Maelstrom Arena but for 2 players for the ultimate buddy cop challenge.

    (with any reasonable combo of duo possible to clear them: two DD serve to finish the battles faster, but a tank or healer involved making the battle more manageable or easy at cost of speedier DPS.)

    Lol if you are a good dps with solid survival skills you can solo plenty of vet dungeons.

    Where this would be challenging is maybe have a timed challenged going around killing stuff or something=)

    Most 4 man dungeons can be finished solo even on veteran mode and the rest can be completed with a minimum of 2. I can't really think of a mechanic that ties more than 1 player at a time, or more than 2 levers or plates need to be activated to pass a gate.

    Some people like to blow through all content in 15 minutes...but personally, I like to enjoy the game, I dont care if a dungeon like this takes an hour...no big deal, I have spent longer than that wiping on the same boss over and over againlearning mechanics

    I was just talking with some guildies about this. What would be the bomb in my (humble) opinion would be a dymanic arena. One that lets a group of 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 go in and then 'dynamically' adjusts the arena to group size and composition.

    Too many times we've gotten a group of 3 and can't get a 4th for whatever reason, or we get 4 and then a 5th gets left out.

    A dymanic arena would solve this. Most likely not realistically feasible, though one can dream.

    Its not a question as to whether you CAN do a dungeon with 2 people...its more the fact that they offer no active support for doing so. I would be happy if they changed group finder to allow you to select a maximum of 2 people...then those who prefer a challenge would select this mode and most likely bring some type of hybrid role toon....I myself would bring my tank/dps hybrid to this type of dungeon

    I understand the request and I don't think the comments saying....well if you use X build with Y CP and XYZ gear, you can do this.

    I'd like to express that in the scaling that occurs (or a different scaling) any of the solo only - group content could benefit from adjustments base don current group size, however this would have to work like Diablo 2/3 where the game changes based on those in the same instance.

    Not sure that the scaling was done this way, and for sure the game doesn't adjust solo only to more than 1 but it would be something many would like to experience. The rewards would need to follow said adjustment as well.....to some extent

    I think dungeons or a vMA designed for 2 people would be fun.
    Something being unbalanced in 1v1 does not imply that it is balanced in group play.

    That s a way to do it too, like we would defend our ground in the middle of tje arena, and waves of mobs would be realeased with their size proportionnal to group size. Maybe not thzt unrealistic

    If you're wanting to 2-man a dungeon the earlier ones are doable and a challenge to actually do. I wouldn't be against ZoS adding in a spin off of the Maelstrom arena that was 2-player. It might force new hybrid builds which could only be a good thing. Personally i've been using the same build for like a year so it has got a wee bit stale.

    Anything which shakes things up in a meaningful way would be cool. (i'd also point out that getting 4 or 12 people can sometimes be a bit of a pain so just being able to grab one and delve straight in would be a welcome sight).

    I know this is unrelated but I wanted to put this forward as an idea. Y'know when you're playing CoD you have preset classes? Well how about including something like that for PvP battlegrounds and perhaps even PvE dungeons? My thinking is that I have a PvE dd and have no interest rejigging it every other day to play different content. Having a preset build I could temporarily switch to would allow me to jump in to battlegrounds without having to completely re-do my character. Obviously I would add as a caveat, these presets should not be BiS and should offer a very straight forward decent but not amazing build that can compete effectively in a PvP environment.

    The outcome of that would be increased play of battlegrounds and more PVPers jumping in to do delves and what not. Its not a refined idea but I certainly feel it could be built on by the devs to create a more engaging system for all.

    And 4 but if I’m honest....it’s just time for a new TES game made with a lot of the old and a change to the new as in shared and solo like Diablo 2/3 or Elite Dangerous private servers or Conan Exiles on Xbox one where you can enable co-op and invite friend

    Seriously - Imagine an arena that gave weapon rewards (like vMA/vDSA) that synergized with each other when in the same group. This could be a whole new line of stuff to get, hopefully with both PvP and Pve uses.

    I'm talking new content there, not 2 manning a dungeon.

    Pretty sure group delves were created with 2 players in mind since they are a little more difficult than normal delves.
