removed from game - new weird problem

since yesterday i started to have a new weird problem (at least it's new to me).

it's quite similar to that old one when all other players stay still and you are still able to play for a while. but this time i can see all players on a city doing things, running, even activating mementos, i can see it all, so i'm still online for sure, but i'm unable to interact with anything and unable to talk on chat, but i still can see everybody else talking. it stays like this for a while and then i'm removed from the game to the login menu without any error message.

this thing never happened to be before yesterday, but now it's becoming very frequent.

any idea what is this?

I think this is an addon issue. Try disabling all addons and see if that helps. Then turn them on a few at a time.

i'm going to try. the bad thing is that it's totally random. sometimes a lot of hours for the next fail.
now i had 2 of this problems in 1 hour, but yesterday i had 2 in 5 or 6 hours.

anyway, i didn't updated any addon in the last week and this problem only started yesterday.

oh! wait i'm now getting the old Error 303.

can it be related? ISP problem maybe, no?

this happens to me on xbox from time to time, once it starts i just restart my game and it fixes it

i can't find any solution and it's getting worst.

it's now very very hard to login. i need to try many times until i get on the game.
also, everytime i change character i'm now forced to login again, and normally i was able to change character in the character menu without the need to type my password again.

maybe it's some safety measure during the anniversary event. i had all kinds of problems with the game since this event started. seems better to quit for a few days and try again after the event is over. the game is pretty unplayable right now anyway.

funny... it's 2am here and the game is running perfectly.
i have no login issues, no lag, no low framerate and i have all addons activated.

i've been noticing that at my end the game runs better between 2am and 5am filled with addons than between 6am and midnight with no addons. quite interesting.

It is a concurrency issue IMO - I experience that in very crowded places as well. So I tend now to play at times, where not many are online and it works a whole lot better. Given that I am on PC EU, which is having some trouble at the time being.

i forgot to mention that i'm on PC EU.

so... it might be in fact a server problem and not an ISP problem as i first thought.

well... i'm again unable to change character without being forced to login again.

i only have this problem between 6am and midnight, after that i'm able to change character on character menu without being moved to the login menu.

i'm not sure now if it is a problem or if it is intended to be like this now during the day.

This sounds like a glitch in the matrix.

But in all seriousness, try disabling your add-ons.

it works better with addons after after midnight than without addons during the day

i don't use many addons anyway.

I was having this problem a lot and it turned out the culprit was not addons or my Internet but eso64.exe - as soon as I switched from that to eso.exe the problems went away. I had keybound the 64bit client back when the 32bit client was still a thing, and kept using it even after the game went 64bit only. Then after the most recent patch, I started getting timeout errors. Might not be your issue, but have a look just in case.

interesting. i'm using 64bit too with the same history.

i'm going to try eso.exe. never thought on that. thanks for the tip

i tried your idea the last time the problem that i described happened.
as soon as i noticed that i couldn't interact with anything i typed "/reloadui".
on PC EU i got the following error message: "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection." i tested my internet and it seemed ok, and i believe that it might be a valid internet connection (whatever it means). so... looks like it only works on PC NA for this case. but i'm not surprised, everything works better on PC NA

today i played during the night and the game was running amazingly after 2 am to 7am, i was even able to change characters without any trouble at all. since 7am i was no longer able to login without being removed to login menu, and now i'm not even able to login any more, i just get the same message over and over and over again: "Please wait a few minutes and login again".

so... clearly the actual problems on PC EU are time related.
