Teabagging in The Elder Scrolls Online isn't a debate it's actually against the rules.

TBH if you can't deal with stuff like T-bagging and have to go out of your way to report someone... To me you're an immature little kid that wants to be appreciated and wants attention for doing absolutely *** nothing but crying about your feelings.

ZOS, I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted. The world screams "We want to be mature." Yet the downfall to childishness is happening at light's speed.

Because that's exactly how you look like. Makes me wonder how you even live your life if you can't deal with such irrelevant pointless little annoyances in a video game.

Truth be told I feel extremely bad for people who are that sensitive. Takes the joy out of life if you spend so much time and energy focusing on things that don't directly affect your life in any way unless you, as you obviously did, choose to be affected by them.

Happiness is a choice. And many are too blind to choose.

Sounds just like how shooting someone in a FPS is the same as shooting up a school...

    Right... because logic...

This is an immersive role playing game and tea bagging people is poor behavior and harassing. I personally role play my character and in the world I RP them I would not foresee my adversary tea bagging me. It isn't realistic or immersive. There's counter-strike and then there's mature MMORPGs.

Hopefully they take note that the vast majority of people in these threads are against teabag banning and against a minority of voices equivalating it to sexual assault.

I like role playing too, but i dont expect others to cater to my style of gameplay. Also, getting slaughtered by "XxpwnagexX" isnt immersive nor realistic but thats pvp

The real world and an online fantasy world that includes other players will always have one thing in common:

You cant control or tell other players how to behave. The people running the game set the rules, and i would be amazed if this isn't rolled back as a decision.

Regardless you just violated the rules of service on the forum against discussing punishment here, and will receive a warning yourself.

If this is rolled back or not,, we won't hear about it. That's how ZoS does things.

Well, now we have the definitive answer. Look at how many people on these forums who supported and advocated for teabagging were wrong. Not surprising, of course.

It looks like a typo because in the last sentence they state: "As a result, this account is receiving an official warning. "

Posted this is another thread, but screenshots can easily be faked. That message has some weird grammar ("is receiving an official for"...). It's also 3 years old. If it's enforced, there will be plenty of other more current emails floating around that people would have posted. I'm skeptical it's against the TOS until a ZOS employee confirms.

Apparently you're not paying attention. People are arguing that it shouldn't be a ban-able offence.

Not only that, flaws in the screenshot have people questioning its authenticity.

The bottom line and moral of the story is this:

Don't teabag. Find another way to express your emotions. Just like in real life.

But there's the issue with something this misleading, fake or real we will never know since ZoS doesn't discuss disciplinary actions. And the people believing its true will choose to do so regardless of what sort of evidence is produced against it.

This is a great example of how fake news works. Give someone a lie that looks convincing to reinforce their preconceived belief.

Where are all the other emails/outrage from people getting warned? Why is there literally only 1 screenshot, from 2015, with weird grammar being used as proof? Is teabagging such a non issue that only 1 person has ever been reported and issued a warning for teabagging? If so, then it's obviously not something that is enforced, and you could say while it "technically" might be against the TOS *if* (big if) that email is to be believed, if it isn't actually enforced then it doesn't matter.

Further things that lead me to believe it's fake-There is no customer service rep's signed name, no "Warm Regards" that typically they end their e-mails with, most importantly, they don't send support ticket responses for warnings. They just email you directly. (All from the original thread that picture came from (https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/206255/teabagging/p1)

i've delt with in game gms for years in ff11 and ff14. this seems to be fake, as a few things do not compute. Bad grammar is one, the date is 2015. Why bring it up in 2018.

teabagging has been in gaming since quack and golden eye 007. halo popularized it with the internet becoming more mainstream.

Also there is no clause in the tos about "physical harassment" I've read just about every ToS in mmo and there is no clause like this.

there is no way to prove the "tea bagging" happen they only have access to chat logs. Im just getting back into ESO and im guessing some ppl in the community are going crazy over the PAX teabagging incident?

first off, you are not you online. What happens to your character is not happening to you. Gender, preferences do not matter.

hell i'm a women who is 33 years old. I teabagged people in golden eye 007 on the n64 and again in halo. It isn't terrible. it is stupid fun, on fps.

To All the people calling out bad grammar here.

That's not a real factor. Lots of European and East Asian employees do not have English as their first language. In fact, most customer service representatives are like that. While it is somewhat required to have good English skills, it is not expected of you to speak like someone who went to college to study it.

This must be a joke. No serious adult human being could call teabagging a "physical" action. And if ZOS really wants to make an action that over 75% of PvPers do every single day an "actionable offense" they'll be shooting their own business in the foot and they fully deserve a devastating loss of profits.

Glad I'm in the 25% of PvPers. Only 12 year olds teabag. (Or those with the mentality of one aka trolls)

Already said in that other thread that it's against ToS. Its harassment either way you look at it. To all of you defending it, just because it doesn't offend you, who cares? Stfu as your opinion does not matter. Its a violation of the ToS as it rightfully should be.

    Get over it teabaggers.
