This quest sucks.
I /feedbacked this repeatedly on the beta and they still have yet to do anything about it.
If, by some sadistic stroke of fate there's more than one person in here doing this quest, you'll never get it done in less than forever.
There's next to no guar that spawn in town, and if you're not the only one running around for them, good freaking luck at finishing.
It took me almost 3 hours to finish this the last time I did it, and I was pissed enough to complain about it.
It's still got an abysmal spawn rate. Bleh.

Doesn't work for me either. I was running around when the city was really empty and there was literally no spawn of the quest guar. 0 spotted.0 -
If this is the quest you pick up in Bal Foyen and the Guar in Fort Zeren he doesn't show up on the map when you are in the Fort. At least, he didn't on my run through but I still found him. He's at the top of the stairs from the Fort entrance closest to Bal Foyen. Just enter the Fort, climb the stairs to the main area and he should be right there for you to interact with.0 -
I believe this is the quest in Kragenmoor, "Return to Grandmaster Omin Dres" You run around and you'll eventually see markers for the Guars.. You'll get to it, and someone on a different shard is actually Proding the Guar, and you miss out on your opportunity. Only way to get this done is to camp one Guar and hope you have the fastest fingers.0

Guy tells you to go prod some guar and send them home, but there's almost never any actually up. The marker is actually for an entire area around the center of town, and while they can spawn slightly outside of that marked area, it took me over an hour last night to finish it.
After I got the first three, someone else showed up..
