Do you feel like the missing of gates to cyrodil is immersion-breaking?

I mean, both craglorn, rift and reaper's march are connected to cyrodiil on the map, but there is no gate on the boarder of these areas.

I understand that the gates, even if exist cannot be a useable one, since we are using the queue system to get in cyrodiil, but I feel like it breaks the immersion a bit

Fort Sphinxmoth is the "Gate" connecting Reaper's March to Cyrodiil.

The Gate near Elinhir is the "Gate" connecting Craglorn to Cyrodiil.

All other zones aren't near enough to the border so there's no gates. And if you mean there's no usable gates, that's due to Cyrodiil not being a PvE zone.

like the towers with lights on at night that we cant enter?

like the doors we cant open?

    etc.?

Yes but it's intentional to avoid exploiting the queue process . I'm sure they could of found a way to make travelers on foot enter the queue but deemed it unnecessary .

That and the zones with slaughterfish who don't allow you to cross over to the next region (forced wall barrier). I don't mind if I get a loading screen in the middle of the ocean to transfer my character into the next instanced zone, it's still better than having only one "door" entrance to a zone.

Don't you have to cross mountains to get to Cyrodiil from Skyrim?

Also, there's a huge gate in Craglorn. In the east/southeast near that magic city.

A simple solution might be to just have any of these border gates just open up the alliance war menu and you can then queue as normal. Not a fancy idea, but at least a bit more lore worthy.

I cant wait for a game that is truly all accessible. Maybe when tech catches up?

We're getting abridged versions of every zone. You have to be able to accept that there's a lot more to each of them than what we see. Otherwise, you have to accept that the population of an entire continent is a couple thousand people at most and that major cities have maybe a hundred people total, that people just are spontaneously generated as full adults, etc.

Compare TESII's Daggerfall to ESO's Daggerfall, and I'm sure you'll agree that we're seeing the highlights at best in ESO. Gates to Cyrodiil just don't make the cut.

    Yes. It's a problem.

Cyrodiil needs to be better integrated with the rest of the zones to help immersion.

The tech HAS caught up, whether or not the Developer uses said tech is another question.

Check out the game Fuel, it's world map is massive and you can go ANYWHERE within it's borders.

This, you will have to queue as its multiple campaigns, worse they might add more temporarily during pvp events.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Asheron's Call was the size of Rhode Island and was entirely open. That was my first MMO and it was a long time ago. There's no technological reason preventing it, though there are certainly practical trade-offs.

You can actually swim to another region. I was fishing Bangkorai Oceans for achievement one day. I was checking fishing spots along coast. While swimming at the north-west shores towards west I get a loading screen. After a few moments I found myself in an adjacent map. I was at land and at the map entrance to be specific but again, I swam to another map.
