Ya I had a stam sorc too named Track Star and it just became worthless.

I had like 2k wep dmg but nothing could catch me. Was fun troll build.

Could someone enlighten me on what ZOS did that has annoyed OP?

I understand they did something that invalidated his build or something I would just like to know what it was :)

@Mashille if you read the patch notes, all these builds that run like the flash are no longer going to be viable finally...let me repeat FINALLY. No longer will you see derps run for the horizon before they die and make it there before you can even mount.

Thats what op is mad about. His/her build was based on super fast movement speed but according to them it lacked dps. Which means they focused on running away instead of fighting. The builds that combine both insane movement speed with high dps are the builds that got crippled, OP was doing it wrong if they were not dishing out dps while having such high mobility.

Since the mobility nerf for stacking movement speed is coming out, this build of theirs is now ruined. Like someone else in this thread said, if the build you are running is breaking the game you might as well have a backup plan in place or you will be where op is: "I hate you zos" because it will get destroyed by wrobel

Doesn't this go against "Play how you want" mentality?
It was a good build that wasn't "meta" but that wasn't what the devs wanted so they nerfed it.

I've never run a meta build, but my Magplar has been nerfed 3 times and buffed once. When they buffed Radiant I laughed my butt off because I knew I was screwed long term. Unsurprisingly I got nerfed again and rightfully so.

What the devs want is fairness. If you're pushing the game to its edges (which I fully support) eventually you'll get the hammer. It is what it is. Just always understand this when dumping a bazillion gold.

Side note: reasons like this are why if anyone tells you that you have to run X tell them to pay for it.

I'll just do what I typically do in this situation. Play it as much as possible until they nerf the next class/setup I used.

Btw I run prisoners rags and eternal hunt for unlimited stam recovery troll build. With new fear circles invisibility shadow image and trap beast on a stam nightblade so if you could go ahead and nerf that all too that would be great. Haven't used my Sorc since it became "meta".

    Lol.

Patches bring changes. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I just try to remember it's a game, and when it's evolving and changing it makes things more challenging and fun. That said, I think your stam sorc will fare okay in update 14...which granted is a massive overhaul that will take some adaptation.

Resource regen will take a hit. Compensating might mean regen jewelry enchants. The loss of power might be annoying, but remember that you're depowering along with everyone else...many, many builds will need to move away from the all-power meta.

And I think overall the CP overhaul will benefit your build because you're utilizing more than power output, resistance and regen...you're also using speed and sprint. Under the current system, you're penalized for investing in relevant CPs in the sense that if another player invests in regen or cost reduction, they grow proportionally stronger than you do. In other words, putting 30 CPs into Sprinter might make you 5% better overall, but someone who puts those same 30 CPs into warlord or regen might be 7% better overall. The diminishing return curve will help you diversify your specialty build without this hurting your performance in relation to other characters.

I'm not saying the changes are sure to be beneficial for your character...they're massive changes, and it's hard to know how things will shape up. But as someone who has been here since the beginning, I've learned that patches aren't always as bad as they seem...and often I've thought a character will be nerfed overall, but discovered that in fact they gain compared to other classes and builds. Give it time and see what happens.

Thread is about capping the run speed at 100%. Which was the point of speedy builds that you could reach much higher values before.

Frankly, this follows the direction Cyrodiil is been taken the last 2 years. It's either run 60 deep yourself or get stomped. Can't have escaping from the almighty zerg. After all, devs want to make sure the casuals feel powerful too.
