While I'm generally pleased with what I've gotten from the Crown Store, much of it is over-priced and I'm pretty angry about it.

* If something costs the Crown-equivalent of $60 USD, it better have content equal to the base game
* No player home, mount, or motif is worth more than $20 USD, and even that is pushing it
* Crown-only items (which cater only to Whales) alienate the rest of us. Stop it.

We don't care what other companies do. This isn't WOW. This isn't Star Wars. This is Elder Scrolls, and Elder Scrolls is better than this.

As long as it is not p2w I’m fine with it.

Folks who play WoW bought $1000 tcg card for an in game mount that very few people have. The concept as it relates to ESO is similar and that is to buy lottery crates for a chance to get a mount no one else have. Same even with a Rolex watch. Why do people still buy a $10k Rolex instead of a $5 Casio f-91w which keeps time better? It’s because the Rolex sets you apart and places you into a ‘special’ category and that simply is just how the human mind is wired.

I often see post on the forum that thematically sounds like “Us (players) against Them (Corporations and Zo$)” but the truth is everyone for the most part is out for themselves and if I have to pay $300 worth of crates at a chance to get a really rare mount that sets me apart from others then why not?
