Greetings everyone! I am very hyped to finally announce a new never before done type of event that a lot of players have been working on. In short it is exactly as the title says, we are trying to marshal the PVP guilds on the PC EU server to march together into a battle between the three alliances that will maybe define the fate of Cyrodiil for all of time.
The exact details for this event have not yet been finalised, so the objectives of this thread are for gaining an understanding of how high the interest would be for this sort of event and to receive ideas and suggestions on how it should be carried out.

This is what I can tell you so far though:

The (initial) Battle will take place somewhere on neutral ground in Cyrodiil (suggestions for locations would be greatly appreciated). After some RP talk with our council we decided that it will happen in a specific Region of Cyrodiil (The great forest, the heartlands, Jerall mountains... those are all regions of Cyrodiil); the alliance who wins the event will gain control of that region in Cyrodiil RP-wise.

We will do one badass openfield battle with hundreds of people involved! (if the servers can handle it ) The plan is to make it seem like complete chaos and try to capture the soul that such a battle would have in real life or like you would see in movies.... all charges with horses at once towards the opposing army, arrows raining upon the ground and balls of fire swung up in the air by trebuchets unleashing hell into the battlefield.

A commander/coordinator for each alliance will be promoted and together with him/her the alliance can make up their own battle plans and tactics for how to win this battle. They could do stuff like hide cavalry in the back that will charge in late battle turning the odds... have an assigned group of archers that will fire arrows open all foes... create a shield wall that is so strong nothing can break it... the imagination has no limits.
Everyone who joins will get gold as a participation reward, but the winning alliance (winning criteria to be determined based on feedback and suggestions)lets say gets 2 million (as an example) split between everyone in that faction, second gets 1,5 million and third gets 1 million (sponsors would be welcome).

The event will be streamed, recorded and put on Youtube. Other than all the stuff written so far, the rest of the info is to this point just speculation and can change. If the initial event is well-received, then the plan is to roll out regular (e.g. monthly) events.

I am unable to say how many PVP guilds are already in on this event, but the interest is very high.
