Well, you can... Probably won't be super effective.

But Stamina can use 5 non-class skills on back bar and at least 3 on front on end game, so I guess it might not be that hard.

    Say:

    Back-bar:
Poison Injection, Endless Hail, Trap, Caltrops, Vigor, Ballista ULTI

    Front-bar:
Rapid Strikes, Rending Slashes, Steel Tornado, Deadly Cloak, Eterna Hunt, Dawnbreaker.

You will be missing tons of buffs, though.

why do they penalize players like this, we should have the options to go and obtain and use other skills if were not happy with the class skills they make.

There are also some skills from other trees like Fighters Guild, Undaunted, Mages Guild, Werewolf, Vampire and Soul Magic. No chance it would be tier one but playable for overland content and normal dungeons....sure.

Hard to define good, but can you make a fun character without class skills, sure.

PS: I would still level up your class skills so you can get the useful passives.

How often do we have to repeat these stupid threads.

Assuming people could do so (and taking into account the OP's obvious dislike of classes), it's; as stated a million times; class homogenisation that would finally end in everyone following one build/one class/same skills at a competitive level.

I've always loathed the lack of class definition in this 'mmo'. It makes roles so trite, I'm often wondering why I bother. Some class distinction and not facing A another copy of myself in game, is about all there is right now.

Take that away and it'll be balanced alright. Whilst being about as fun and diverse as a white padded room.

It really depends on your definition of good. If you have an extreme version of good like vet trials, leaderboards, etc. then i doubt it. But casual good to get you through most content? Yes. It just really depends on how hard of content you want to do. For casual stuff totally doable. I use a single bar bow blade no class skills and have no issues with normal content and some vet. I sometimes slap a resto set on my sorcerer and can heal dungeons just fine without any class skills.

Yeah you can do normal content just fine without class skills. I mean... a lot of content you can just spam a couple of buttons and get through it. I solo public dungeons using caltrops, draining shot, and sometimes endless hail. On the bosses i do fine using pos injection, caltrops, and focused aim. Toss an ultimate in there and your golden. In normal dungeons you will play with a wide variety of skilled players from the newbie who does like 2k dps to the high CP in trial gear melting everything before you even get to it. Most people wont even notice unless you die constantly or your at the top or bottom of those numbers.

As for pvp, imp gear matters, if your serious about pvp. If your just their to have fun and rack up some AP, then go in as you are and do what you can. Expect to be hit hard like 10-15k hits, though.

The best option for a character to use zero class skills is the nightblade, with a stamina build focused on weapon skills.

Nightblades have more passives that boost weapon performance than any other class, with increases to damage, crit, etc. However, you still have to use class abilities to unlock and level those skill trees to get the passives you need.
    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer

    Yes.
Stamina built, weapon skills as main source of damage, fighters guild and assault skills as support. Level the class skill lines anyhow for the passives, but don't use any skills once you maxed them.
    Its quite doable.

Less so with magica builds... you -can- make it work, somewhat, with staff, mages guild and soul magic, but... it will perform quite suboptimal compared to others...

I you have expectation which are not what the game delivers or want the game to be something it's not you're only going to make yourself miserable.

Take ESO for what it is and enjoy it for what it is. If you really don't like the class skills try and find guild skills or sets which offer you the bonuses you're missing. However don't expect to be clearing high level content or be super competitive in PvP unless you play the game the way it was designed to be played.

    Stam is easy

    Front bar two hander,

Camo hunter, rally, reverse slice, brawler, wrecking blow, ulti flawless dawnbreaker

    Front bar dual wield,

Camo hunter, shrouded daggers, steel tornado, blood craze, bloodthirst, ulti is flawless dawnbreaker or rend

    Back bar bow,

Trap, caltrops, vigor, endless hail, poison injection, ulti ballista.

Mag is harder and will do less dps.

    Front bar fire staff

Inner light, degeneration (entropy), elemental ring, clench, force pulse, ulti meteor

    Back bar lighting or fire

Inner light, eledrain(maybe consuming trap), harness magic, scalding rune, wall of elements, ulti elemental rage.

Both those builds will get you survivability and at least 20k dps.
