Optional skill or item for summon-able pets to have aggro

The idea of allowing a skill for classes that summon pets in battle to have the ability to hold aggro would make this more enjoyable.
Once the aggro skill is enabled the DPS of the creature goes down but the defenses go up and it holds aggro so ranged can better play ranged.

Clanfear will hold agro, however only if you are the only one hitting target.
This is to avoid it stealing agro from tank and to avoid sorc to run as DD / tank combos using just the clanfear for tanking.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

well my idea would be an option you can turn off when your grouping.. more for soloing

Depends on which of the pets we're talking about. Wouldn't want Twilight Matriarch (Or any of the Twilights) tanking, nor would you want the scamps tanking. Clannfear I can see feasibly side-tanking for a Sorc Tank (or Solo-DPS for Worlding, Vet Dungeons or vMA). Bear could also side-tank for a Warden. Usually you don't want to run pets in the harder content (Depends on the group too), but if they made the passive pet taunt more effective without adding or removing the pet's active skill that would be nice.
Welcome, Moon-and-Star, to this place where destiny is made.

I play healers or DPS often for vet dungeons and trials (NA, CP810+). I play mostly elves or Argonians.
I primarily play Damage-Based stuff in PvP, but occasionally I'll play something tanky or got the heals.
I also love gaining more knowledge both metaphysical and mundane regarding TES lore.

I also occasionally role-play, but I prefer playing the game.

you lost me a bit as a causal player but i think were on the same page as in when soloing having the pets agro would be good

Clanfear is very nice for soloing world bosses and group dungeons, pretty much easy mode.
Adding this to the warden bear would make sense.
