I am not interested in a Centuar race as they do not find in the Elder Scrolls universe. Armor would also have to recreated to fit them. If anything, they should add Maormer and Reachmen as playable races as they are more lore friendly.
Some of the species you mentioned are actually types of Faerie. More specifically, Spriggans, Nereids, and Nixads. Some scholars even believe Elves are a type of Faerie that resides fairly low on the totem pole. Nevertheless, they simply could not be a playable race as they are less intelligent than that of Man and Mer, guardians of nature, or are hermit like.

Actually, Centaurs were found in Daggerfall (the game not the place), so technically they are part of the lore.
I'm all for adding the Maormer as a playable race, especially since they're adding a Pyandonean motif to the game. Would be pretty cool.

There adding a Pyandonean motif??????????! O_o ... I guess thats the 2019 Chapter right there... they'll stay with their model of making large isolated state/island chapters.

Biology
Like the Khajiit and Argonians, they are humanoid in form, and animalian in appearance. Said to look vulpine, meaning fox-like.
History
The Lilmothiit used to call Black Marsh their homeland. It is not said why they left, some believe they were driven out by the Argonians or that they were wiped out by the Knahaten Flu in 2E 560 which killed everything not of reptilian stock. The Akaviri may have had interactions with the Lilmothiit, shown by the Akaviri using Lilmothiit ruins as grounds for prisons.
They are most likely related to Khajiit, as they are also a mammal-based race.
Culture
Although little is known about Lilmothiit culture, what is known about them is that, like most beastfolk, they lived in a primitive, tribal society. It is also believed that the Lilmothiit were possibly nomadic.
