Glyph animation on weapons from outfit system

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I used the outfit system to change the appearance of a weapon (in this case a lightning staff) the enchantment animation no longer shows, before the shock glyph covered it in lightning, now it doesn't. Is there a way to change this so it shows again?

Auros✭✭✭Bump! I can confirm the same: my Lightning/Resto staves no longer have animation once I set any other look than the original? Ugly...1 -

Personally I didn't like them. But I understand that others do.1
