Three simple chance will improve the quality of the game

1/ In game voice chat.

I know some ppl will argue that we already have 3rg website like discord to help us to solve this problem. But calmdown and go around grathwood or other town, you will realize that Eso have a great 3d sound system. Try to immage 1 day you can hear people talking around you, or your friend call your name from far away. How lively this world can be.

Solution:

Of course we have problem about noisy come from other player. To solve that we just need obtion:

a-world mode: allow you to hear voice from every player on Tamriel ( ofcourse just around you, and sound from futher will be lower - you can not hear ppl too far from you)
b-partymode: you only can hear sound from your party member ( same princible)
c-friendmide:you only can hear sound from your friend list
d-off

2/Mini game

Game card, chest, board game..... Will give ppl something to do to kill time. Then maybe the complaint about we have nothing to do at end game will be decrease.
It's just for fun not gamble.

3/Pet my dog

Just a simble button to allow ppl pet thier pet

You can add another check on obtion

a-only allow me to pet my pet
b-allow other player to pet my pet

That is. Just small chance but I think it will help improve qualiti of Eso and make Tamriel be more lively than ever

But none of these things would significantly improve the quality of the game in any way? People likely wouldn't use in-game voice chat (the way they don't for other things that have it, like Roll20) because the functionality of Discord is simply superior.

Nobody would play a crappy simulation of chess or w/e on an MMO for fun, there are game sites that are dedicated to that kind of stuff. Unless the rewards were great, and in that case... well, it would be stupid to implement something like that giving rewards instead of, you know, actual Elder Scrolls content

Voice on console exists. It does feel more realistic. Especially walking through Riften past 5 dubstep raves on the way to the bank.

On console we have discord and in game chat. Never once have I seen someone discord for communication besides rosters and banter. Having voice chat in one place is super clean and easy, and I'm surprised that PC doesn't have it.

Would be fun in a dungeon, where one group member is trying to say something to another having disabled it.

Many people, I included, just don't want to hear the bad quality (coz of mic) unimmersive voice of someone else while playing.

People posting ideas that they think are the best and will "Save the game" or "Make it immensely better", only upon reading the ideas, they actually turn out to be the worst ideas imaginable.

Adding in gaming gamblers to the taverns of ESO would add more polish to the gameworld, but I don't see it as a very important feature. You would indeed have to associate gambling with it though

Voice on console and hassle-free streaming are the reasons why I’m probably swapping BACK to PS4 (Pro). Grouping and communication on PC is somehow worse, and far more fractured than it should be. Outside of scheduled guild runs it’s literally dead.

It would be good for social interaction or immersion. It's something for houses or inns. Would good for player base loyalty as they feel more connected. That's what I think.

I don't use voice chat, don't want or need mini games, or want to pet my dog.

Sorry, but there are lots of things that could improve the game - like a properly functioning trade system open to all, for example - but these three ideas don't come close in my view.

If there was in-game voice chat, I might actually use it. I certainly wouldn't mess with any third party programs on top of ESO...

Minigames? Yes, those would be interesting, IF inertwined with the general gameplay. Like, have two minigames in each tavern, one for playing against a NPC, and one for two players to compete against each other; and make it a different selection in each tavern... like, in Riften you might arm wrestle against a burly nord, and have a card table for playing with your friends, while over in Ebonheart you can play cards against a dunmer scoundrel and have a match of darts with your friends, and in Davon's Watch you can play darts against an argonian pirate, but have a chess game with your friends... and so on, all over tamriel. Including dailies, and the occasinal interlinking of the minigames with some quests (like, have an "beat the local champion at arm wrestling" instead of "collect X of item" quest stage)

In-game petting? hell ye... oh, wait, you meant petting your pet? Meh...

I am not sure the game system is easily set up for two-party animations, but if they added it, theres so many other things I'd want before being able to play with your pet. Player-to-player stuff. Hugs. High fives. Dances. etc.
