Are crown store sales (not the crowns themselves, but the items in the crown store) ever announced?
Like on the little splash screen thingy when you launch the game?
Or somewhere on the ESO website?
Or is the "featured" items the stuff that's on sale and you just have to check every day?
Apologies for what may seem like an obvious question (I did search for crown sales announced and only saw a post from 2016 where someone said there was a sale).
They announce a lot things on their Twitter page - such as the pet sale or anniversary prolongation that were nowhere to be found on the official website.
edit: I think it's the same with Crown sales but they're never announced beforehand.

You'd think they would have put something up on their official website regarding extending the anniversary event by a week. I had no idea. I'm glad it's extended, but if I hadn't known, I'd have been grinding all weekend and then buying the WC pages I didn't get only to discover I had another week.
They're sort of low-key about it nowadays because i'm not sure if you were around for this but when ZoS first released the Leopard Senche Mount they made an announcement on every players screen in yellow bold text in different languages such as (Eng, Japa, Germ, Spanish, etc) and it created a chitstorm on the forums (rightfully so) which now led to ZoS being overly silent about sales related stuff while in game unless you open the crown store tab.
