Just to clarify : I didn't asked for a voting, I just voted for something, probably wrong words from a not native English speaker. But the discussion is what I desired and I enjoy.
And to those who feel in the vast majority of "no" : most people that agree with OP don't post but gave 23 "agree" and a few awesome.

TarrNokk, you really don't want us to comb through this post comparing your Agrees and Awesomes to those of the opposing side. (Which, in the interested of transparency wouldn't be a good metric anyway since people can agree with more than one post - however, there is one "No" comment with 20 agrees and 1 awesome by an ESO+ subscriber so I'm going to suggest that your results aren't all that significant.)

If you want an actual poll, make a poll. Let us vote and then you can see how the forum community actually feels rather than relying on your agrees.

48 unique responses saying "No", so just by counting his 23 agrees and 4 awesome, 2/3 of the posters said no, 1/3 agrees with him, but only less than 10 actually took the time to write something.

That's also not counting the people that hit Awesome ironically, due to the lack of a LOL button.

I read what you said that you didn't want a poll. Its just that a poll is a much more accurate measurement of opinion than counting agrees on a post. That's why I suggested it as an alternative, accurate measurement.

I'll fully admit that I like to argue in support of my opinion, and if that came off as an attack against you, sorry. I disagree with your suggestion, don't think its the best way to achieve your stated goals, and don't think counting agrees is the most accurate way to determine levels of support, but it wasn't meant as an attack on you and I'm sorry if I did.

No. And I’m an ESO+ member on two accounts. My husband has a third ESO+ account and we’ve been here since day 1.

I don’t want to be in any club that denies people the right to express themselves, even when they do nothing but complain.

I've already stated "NO" to this. The ongoing idea seems to be that whining and toxicity would be less if only ESO+ members could post.

I can only point the OP to the SWTOR forums, which ARE subscriber-only posting, and which I, as a subscriber, only enter after I have equipped a hazmat suit and checked that my insurance policies are up to date and cover such reckless actions.

Just accept that limiting who can post will not desalinate the forums.

Well, then its a really pity the OP didn't check out your old thread from February and save themself the trouble of figuring out the forum community's opinion of the idea: generally opposed.

Let them read-only the forums except "customer support-help" where they can adress questions.

I like your idea, but wouldn't it be better to require ESO+ just to read the forums and all chapters owned and at least 75% of crown store items purchased to be able to post? We want want to hear the voices of the people who really love game and not be bothered with the opinions of less satisfied people. Wouldn't that be a better measure?

Limiting to ESO+ would not only cause a lot of unnecessary friction; but you'd be alienating a large % of the playerbase; in addition, how would ESO handle account that don't sub but spend more than $15 a month on Crowns?

Eh, no. Anyone who plays the game has the right to a voice, IMHO. I don't always agree with that people have to say, but I don't believe we should silence them for it.

It's up to an individual whether they see value enough in ESO+ to pay real money toward it. If they decide not to, that does not invalidate their opinion in any way, shape or form. ESO+ is only a subscription and it most certainly doesn't make you more 'right' or less whiny than those who don't pay.

This is why the elite is on top of the hierarchy. They enforce the people below them to be silent. And by implementing this is just like saying "Justice is only for the rich"

Let's take it a step further then, the logical next step:

The real supporters who buy minimum $1000 crown crates each month get an even more exclusive forum. Because those are the opinions that count.

Why draw the line at a measly $15, right?

Is everyone who said yes to the ESO+ part still on board?

    No.

Swtor has this. Can't post on their forums unless you have a subscription.

I bought the game, many expansions, DLC's, Cartel Coins, and had a sub for what probably amounts to 3 years worth on and off, but I can't post an opinion on the forums at this moment because I don't have a current sub?

    Completely stupid.
